Surely that song is based on "You Are My Sunshine", and isn't based on anything to do with the Old Firm!

Yep, but surely its now known as a Celtic Henrik Larsson song?

Its a bit like saying well adapt the words to Youll Never Walk Alone as its originally from Carousel.

Not sure about that. I think adaptations of that song have been on the go at football grounds since well before Larsson was at Celtic. Lots of different clubs' fans have sung the same song about one player or another. It's also the same song as "You are a Weegie, a smelly Weegie", but I wouldn't associate that with supporting Celtic.

You mention "You'll Never Walk Alone", but I think it's incorrect to associate that with any one particular team as well - it's sung at loads of different clubs, all across the world.

As it happens though, I'm not particulary excited about singing that song about Owen Coyle. "Hey Oweny" is vastly superior - fact!

Here's a little number about goran...

(to tune of lord of the dance)

Go-ran wherever you may be,

your in exile from your own country.

But it could be worse,

you could be a dee,

shaging a bird with Hepatitis c.
