Guest Green Street Geezer
Both Gary Elder and Paul Hannigan (reserve players of the 80's) got arrested at Montrose for being involved with hooliganism with the MBS, whilst on the club's books... I can't remember a Gary Elder in the MBS,but I do remember Dave.
Stanleylad
It was Davie. Hanny had some skill at Stanley Primary he used to do all the tricks in the playground. Some pair.
Ronaldo
It has to be Buck McCarry for me after I was right behind the barrier when he splattered the great John Hughes' (Celtic) legs. O'ya bas*ard! I felt it myself, and then he stood on him as he walked away. He never even got sent off. A total accident.
Saintkev
I can't remember a Gary Elder in the MBS,but I do remember Dave. Sorry Davie Elder is his name... Gary Maher was just jailed for the offence mentioned above. Should Tommy Lovenkrands be in here for his rumoured fling with Bev Callard (Liz in Coronation Street)... and why on earth would he?!?! biffer
Did Jim Morton not get sent off twice in the same game?

Ronaldo
I think it's possible to be a bad boy and a hero. I think John Pelosi and Buck McCarry are brilliant.

Davie81
Not bad in the nutter sense but bad in the gash sense. Euan Donaldson and Kenny McDonald!! 2 players who were a disgrace.
Strawman
Also in this set of 80's reserve players was Gary Maher, big brother of Martin Maher, and he was recently in the local papers involved in an incident involving a hammer to make someone get cash out of cash-point for him.../QUOTE] Martin looks to be heading to jail as well, always thought he was a decent player. http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/news/3741515/Ex-footie-star-faces-prison-for-coke-bust.html
Greylag
Remeber Buck McCarry ripping Bobby Clark's shirt right off him. Bobby jumped to get the cross, Buck couldnae be arsed and just held on a bit. He argued with the ref that it wasn't him. Pity he was still holding the remains of the jersey. Could have been the same game that Jim Donaldson was sent off for a cracking two fisted punch on a winger - on the wing! He had to run about 35 yards out of his goal to get him. THE LARK SAINT
Andy Rhodes for tossing an award into a sink in disgust at a Saints supporters do in Barossa St because he thought he should have got first prize. And for throwing his Rolex watch on the bar and saying"See that watch its worth more than half a dozen of youz ******* earn in a month"
lang toon saintie
I never did like Rhodes he was a complete t***.I remember the first time that I saw him playing for us ,a shot came in about chest high, instead of taking what was a fairly regulation catch he took a step to the side, threw himself at the ball and knocked it round the post. People round me were on thier feet cheering and clapping and I was shouting"what are you cheering for?the posing b****** has just given away a corner". I must agree Lang Toon. Brilliant for the cameras but crap goalkeeping. Wonder if he can kick the ball over the halfway line yet! l o l
SingaporeSaint
Pelosi's head butt against M'well at the Muirtondome will always allow him entry in to the bad boys eleven.
HOODLUM65
Andy Jackson - did he not get into bother with the polis re his car? Don't think it was his car. Was it for not being in possession of a current full driving licence? However an idiot nontheless.
Ronaldo
Sandy 'chip on shoulder' Clark who loved to vent his anger at being hard done by Saints when he was a regular on Sportsound on Radio Scotland. The best bit was when Billy Stark came on as a guest commentator a few days after being sacked by us and Sandy thought Billy would enjoy a game of having a go at the Saints board, only for Billy to disagree with Clark and said he understood the reasons why he was sacked and refused to criticise Geoff. That shut Sandy up!! I remember that and it said a lot about Billy Stark to stop that line of conversation instantly since Sandy and Chick had been carrying out a negative campaign against Saints and GB for a few years.. Ronaldo
And for throwing his Rolex watch on the bar and saying"See that watch its worth more than half a dozen of youz ******* earn in a month" ..... and to think he was'nae that good since Totten had to change the back line to have three central defenders - Baltacha, Inglis and Cherry, to handle his inability with high balls. Jings
Jimmy Wallace must be right up there with the rest of the bad boys, for his vicious assault on an opposition player:laugh: The guy will probably still have the lace marks on his back where the ball hit him:D
