john.w
Just curious anybody watch it, last season was filmed where I live
ancientsaint
yeah- the first 2 or 3 programmes looked ok....but it got a bit boring watching big trucks going backwards and forwards carrying big loads. I suspect many who keep watching it are waiting to see a truck and its load crash through the ice.
Jimmy Wallace
it's a strangely addictive programme. Looks an amazing place to live.

john.w
A guy got drowned here Friday he was clearing a road across part off the harbour wie one off those snocat machines like they use to groom ski runs they hadnea heard fie him on the radio for a couple off hours, so they went to look and they say the big hole. Guess they are bringing divers in for recovery, the road he was clearing was for the contractors own use not the main ice road. When they are getting ready to build the main road they use a piece off equipment called a profiler it is electonic they tow it behind a skidoo and it records ice thickness then they might drill holes just to verify. Thoughts are with his family and it hits the community because we all use the ice road every winter
