It is one of those classic Scottish football things. The punishment is different for every club that do it. Hearts will get away with it and only get a fine. Cagey
Dobie scores another 2 making 7 this season already. You can't say its because he was playing lower league as we were playing lower league and could only score 1. Surprised no one has taken a chance on him. Carefully calculated to give Hearts the chance to tie with ICT on 9 points thus either qualifying as group winners or with a pretty good chance of being one of the 4 best runners up. Fine of 10k but 8k suspended.
Cagey
Its about time they sorted this out. Different punishment depending on the club. One law for the big clubs etc etc. A set points deduction & fine. Maybe less if player doesn't come on.
Tranmere Saintee
The 2 points deduction is confusing enough, but why is £8000 of their fine suspended?
Abernethy Saint
Two points is what they “won” on the day. My guess is Hearts were treated leniently because they held their hands up straight away and said they would accept any punishment without fuss, pretty much as we would have done. The match finished 2-1 to Hearts so they have gained 1 point (3 points for a win) from a game they have cheated in whilst Cove get nothing. Abernethy Saint
Take it from me, the best approach when we older folk talk sh ite is to simply nod approvingly and change the subject. That won’t work, but we appreciate the effort and you may keep your inheritance. Coltrane
Cagey
So they got deducted 2 points which leaves it a draw. They are not deducted the goal that they had for original win so that goal may just be the goal difference that gets them into next round.
