    Ultras

Ultras doesnt mean violence or anything associated with that, it means vocal and visible support which our team is lacking in. Many forums have been started encouraging similar groups yet nothing has ever been created. I have the support of many un-named perth saints who would be willing to wear ultra t shirts and fly flags but we need a good number to start an actual fan ultra culture. I as a real fan have watched many a forum who encourage fan participation go by death ears as an organised group has never been made however i hope many dont care what others think and would join in. I will buy flags and streamers, from my own money to start this project! If any saints are interested please pm me so i can organise an action plan to start the east end ultras!! home and away crowds are down, with an actual singing group this would change therefore helping our beloved team succeed at the highest level!! Any saints who want a change in our run of the mill culture should make there voices known so we can act as a group of fans who want to see the club succeed! P.S. Leave all the usual crap said by the normal forumers and let fans who want to get invovled with the club get involved to create a better SJFC!!!! COYS

    I Find It Shocking That

Shocking? Heart racing, short of breathe? Feeling a wee bit faint? Don't, under any circumstances, open a copy of the sun. It may kill you.

  3. It's not in the same class as Muirton, also being on the outskirts is a problem. Both Dens and Tanny are pretty much in the central area of Dundee with loads of pubs and shops and bookies right on the doorstep. There is barely anything near that ground, maybe one pub. A move will only benefit if it goes more central, and there can't be many available areas in the centre of Perth waiting to be used.

    Ultras

Too right, if EsEs taught us anything it is that you can have a great visual and vocal support while being civilised at the same time

  5. Would be a great player if he could play football. Superb entertainment value though.

    Ultras

When I lived in Bucharest I used to go to the matches of a team that didn't have that much in the way of home support. They had an ultras group, which varied between 10 and 20 members, which went to every match and sang at every match. Even though they were a small group, in my opinion they made a big difference. Without them the atmosphere would have been pretty much dead. They were also non violent and free of the bad attitudes associated with a lot of the supporters of the bigger Bucharest clubs.

    Ultras

The green brigade comes from the "old brigade" folk song, gloryfying the murderers that are the ira,but of course they wouldn't get away with that name.Been to Ibrox with Aberdeen and their ultras had flags on every seat and did make an atmosphere, although i preferred the old ASC version of an atmosphere there

  13. Still have my top from back in the day when The Famous Grouse were the sponsor. It was nice when such a big company was the sponsor. I've always been disappointed that we haven't done more with Stagecoach, Aviva or SSE.

  14. Really positivie start to the season by the Saints U20's. I am glad that some overage players are able to play in the 20's league this year, playing alongside experienced pro's like Rowan Vine and Steven McLean can only help our lads. Hopefully some if the lads in the U20 bracket can force their way into the first team in the next year or two.

  17. I think Ivanovic plays at centre half, and this new defender Man City just bought, either way it won't be easy for a lone striker. I've heard Gary Caldwell will start beside Berra at the back

  18. Sometimes I like him, sometimes we seem to be crying out for someone to come on and ruffle a few feathers in the midfield. Sometimes I think he'd be perfect as the holding midfielder who gives the defence the protection it needs... Then he comes on, gives 100% but looks a class below the rest of the team. He dives in recklessly which, for a player of his age, is worrying. He also fails to hold his position in midfield as he wavers between being too far forward and leaving a gap or sitting too deep and leaving a gap, something which Murray Davidson is also liable to do, so there needs to be at least one CM with positional sense on the pitch, that's why Muzz and Adams struggle together. In my eye's he decent back up but never a starter for a team chasing the Top 6. I think the idea of Jamie Adams is better than the reality of Jamie Adams.

    Steven Fletcher

I've no problem with that. He is unsurprisingly getting fed up of being asked the same questions. Shutting the door will hopefully stop the press asking. Maybe they'll even turn their attention to asking Fletcher the questions. Then again...

  21. St Johnstone will be fine this season, we have had a terrible run of games at the start of the season but after the Celtic game I can really see us kick on. We will not be relegated

    Steven Fletcher

Fully support Levein on this one. Fletcher has proven by his actions that playing for his country isn't important to him, otherwise he would swallow his pride and move on. Levein is a talented manager (no matter what some say) and he now has a range of attacking options. It will be tough with Belguim and Serbia but possible.
