  1. Sorry for the delay in posting. Merry xmas to all and i hope you have a good new year. It was great to meet you all at our first meeting. We may not be overlooking the sacred turf we all love or even be in the shadows of it, being way up here in the Highlands but it doesnt make our little club any less important, we all still love the Saints. Lets make 2013 a good year for our newly formed club and hopefully make lots of new like minded friends, and help spread the word of the Perth Saints. COYS.

  2. I am a big fan of Liam, but his recent performances have been poor, and not just his dead balls. He has developed this habit of immediately turning back to face his own goal when receiving the ball and is not making the right decision most of the time when in possession. There were a few examples at Tannadump yesterday. I will say though, that it is not through lack of effort on his behalf, things just aren't going for him at the moment. When this impacts on the teams results or performances, then that player (whoever they are) needs to be dropped, or a better way to put it is that another player deserves an opportunity. It can often be best for all involved and the player dropped gets a new lease of enthusiasm when coming on as a sub and playing well and then getting back into the starting line up. Keeping playing them is not always the best thing. Every time his name is on the teamsheet, I am sure that Liam, as opposed to looking forward to the game, will be feeling a degree of pressure leading up to kick off, as he knows his performances have been poor. Then there is the effect on the players who are constantly on the bench. They too will know Liam isn't performing at the moment and will wonder what has to happen for them to get a chance. Being dropped to the bench may even provide a strange sense of relief to Liam.

  3. I know that Liam Craig has been a brilliant player for saints. But I want the players to be playing on merit, not on how good a servant they are to the club or how good they can be. No player should be "undroppable" but it appears Liam Craig falls into that category. He's been awful and doesn't deserve to be starting. I like him as a player and think he is an important player for us. Unfortunately he is miles from him best just now and the team would, in my opinion, be stronger without him just now.

  4. I think you'll find that the " numpties" do that because everyone has more fun on the road than we do at McD and I also think you'll find the last "numpies" inspired day was actually a home match.( as was the one before that) But hey, don't let the facts get in the way of your rant. If you want to organise something for a home game, DO IT. Nobodys stopping you. This "numpty" has been involved in two organised days this season and they were both home days. It's hard work and time consuming but if a "numpty" like me can do it, I am sure someone like yourself could too.. Happy Holidays

Our biggest problem is our conversion rate, but don't worry cos SL knows about it. He said so.

  8. I have noticed today that we are now only 10 followers less than St Mirren on facebook. They are always lording it over our small support so it would be good if we could get ahead of them on yet another table. We currently have 6798 followers. Back in September the table of "official pages" looked like this.

  9. . Liam Craig has been a great player for saints , and will be back on form soon , needs fans backing not dropped. Would love to keep Pawlett not the biggest fan of loan signings from clubs in our league, but Pawlett is a hard working player who gives us something. Scobbie looked good today hard working .

  12. Really no need to speak to Jamie or think to much. ALL the info you require can be found SIMPLY on here and on the OS as well as FB and also the match programme and the Perthshire Advertiser. Muirton Suite.... Why would I have to explain something about the MS. The OS, this forum and FB as well as the Perthshire Advertiser and the match programme have all carried info regarding pre and post match facilities in the MS. Perhaps I could ask someone from the club to just give you a phone to tell you personally about these things. http://www.perthstjohnstonefc.co.uk/newsitemsdetail.php?param=1968 http://www.perthstjohnstonefc.co.uk/newsitemsdetail.php?param=2246 As for buses. The Bus running from the club is advertised on the OS for EVERY game as well as FB. Our own WAP Barossa Street Saints club Ghost tours are fully explained and STICKIED here.. http://www.weareperth.co.uk/wapforum/index.php?/forum/43-we-are-perth-barossa-street-st-johnstone-supporters-club/ If this is still causing you difficulty ( witty one liner on it's way) may I suggest you visit the PRI and ask if they can remove yoor head from your arse

This is the Dunfermline approach. I can't believe they expected 5k, it's a ridiculous number, given the circumstances. It's a great scheme the club has going, I'm glad they got the word out on the radio yesterday but I still have doubts about whether it's been promoted enough locally.
