Hats off to them for yesterday, fantastic atmosphere never seen anything of the likes since god knows when. They get a fair bit of critiscism from some on here but as i said they were fantastic yesterday... Well in theyoung team!

Bloody hell, the attitude from some on here is mind-boggling. People are talking as if there's nothing to play for. We're JOINT FOURTH! I only pray the players and management don't share the approach of some of you lot. And to talk of not playing Graham is downright ridiculous. People are moaning about the failure to take chances against United, and how it could have damaged our hopes of Europe, then at the same time advocating not playing our top scorer. Graham absolutely has to start this match. Tommy Wright's got a decent record against Celtic and seems to have worked out how to handle them. I fancy us to get something out of this match, and have done ever since the post-split fixtures were announced.

It's sad, every time he plays, I really want him to be brilliant, but he isn't. His ability just seemed to desert him at some point during his time at Everton. Great one day, awful the next. I feel bad for the guy, but he brings nothing to Saints.

Graham must start as we need to score and he's the only player looking likely. The fact he's away at the end of the season is totally irrelevant IMO.

Whoever we have in the team leading the line next season they need to be prepared to get into the box. Get on the end of things. Particularly when we break quickly! Around the 6 yard area today someone in a saints strip could of bagged a couple.

It would be absolutely glorious if they get relegated, probably be up there with Rowan "big club" Vine

This might not be the correct thread for this moan but I have just looked at todays Sunday Mail and there is 3 double page spreads plus half of the back page about a lower division play off game, and there is half a page (with typeface so small I struggled to read it) about our game with United, a game that could have had a significant bearing on the outcome of our top division.................... No west coast bias in the weegie press don't make me feckin laugh.

Funnily enough a guy sitting behind me was giving him pelters throughout, and when he scored, the guy screamed, "about time ye did something useful ya big useless f****** streak o' piss". Obviously not an admirer. Ah well, suppose we all see things differently. Personally thought he had a great game, winning headers in midfield and defence, and crucially putting in block tackles on players on the point of shooting.

The theatrics of the United players was deplorable.

Last two weeks the grass has been much longer than usual and the pitch has looked the best it's looked for a while which would give credence to the suggestion he's been cutting it too short. It's still very bumpy though. I don't know anything about grass but I don't think our pitch should be as bad as it is. That surely comes down to the groundsman. Other clubs have better pitches and get the same weather as we do!

Centre Half are you having a laugh? The pitch is a mess yes and anyone even watching the game on TV will see how the ball is rolling and bouncing all over the place, but to come out with a.comment that TW wants it like that is incredible. The bumpy pitch has cost us more than opposition teams.

Saints have been brutal at times this season, today wasn't one of them. More than acceptable performance, deserved much more out of it, pitch didn't help us at all. Muzz and Millar superb in the middle. Finishing practice on Monday please.

So the answer must be to never actually play games on the pitch!!

We'll start shit, lose a goal in the opening ten minutes, start playing well about half an hour in and miss two or three chances. Second half we'll start gung-ho and lose a goal on the counter, before getting over run and conceding another. Last ten minutes we'll take O'Halloran and Swanson off for Scobbie and McFadden as we push for a goal. We lose 3-0 having had one shot on target.

Sometimes I think Saints fans just see what they want to see. If Spoony did a few of the things Swanson did today the saints fans would be talking about it all week. If he had scored from that run today it would of been one of the best individual goals at mcd in recent memory. He should of scored to be fair.

Had the best sandwich I've ever had from Duo on Wednesday. It was phenomenal. I'd personally never set foot in a subway when there is a place like Duo 5 minutes walk away.

No plans for any major work on the pitch apart from some re-seeding. It will be back to A1 condition by the start of the season. Winter obviously took its toll.
