I got a couple of complimentary hospitality tickets for our semi at Ibrox and it was one of my biggest regrets. When stevie mays second went in I was going absolutely mental, jumping around like you would and then realised I was one of the only ones. What I'd have given that point to be in the Saints end, it was going bananas for ages. Hospitality is a nice wee change but it's not for the big games. I'll stick to the odd Brechin game that doesn't matter.

I have mixed feelings on this set up I have done it a few times under various guises and it has always been top notch and very busy,(dont think you will beat food at any other Football venue) On the occasions with free bar i have drunk as much as i can and had a great time until the Football and have been in some terrible states including sleeping through , a whole 45 minutes in the JC days Now i believe in getting my monies worth and at £90 (cost at time) i sure as hell wasn't going to drink coke with as much lager and white wine as i could drink, free to guzzle But this brings me to my real point, i have admittedly been drunk and incapable at a football match and have witnessed some pretty mashed up men at those events, but instead of sobering up in a cell as you no doubt would if you entered any other part of the Stadium in that state, but instead you are invited back after the game for another couple of hours free drinking, but all this is OK because you have a suit and a tie on

We thought he was staying with us after Scottish Cup Final win.... but he didn't. As a player you need to stay committed, even though it might not be the case. What was discussed? Your survival battle for the season ahead... only joking

Hospitality areas at any event aren't aimed at the average paying fan. They're expected to be pricey. That's sort of the whole point.

I hope he's good, but like George I think a lot of fans are setting themselves up for disappointment, expecting a footballing genius to re-emerge unscathed from his Hibs disaster. Not only did he not look like a footballer last season - the worst player on the park during the play offs - but he struggled at Easter Road under three different regimes. Can we dismiss all that an anomaly by saying, "Oh well, that's Hibs"? Even if he hits the standard he reached in his first spell here in the First Division and Premier League, we need to remember it wasn't unblemished. My memory of him is coloured by his professionalism and form over the last few months of his contract, but over six years he had his share of innocuous performances. I wish him well - Swanson was never an option - and he certainly offers a more attacking option than Lappin, but... [disappears into boring diatribe about youth not getting an opportunity]

Letter to editor of the Dundee Telegraph If are to judge by the tone of "Member's" letter which appeared in your columns last week, he seems to have worked himself into something approaching a panic re the Saints' team, and, like most people suffering thus, he rushes blindly into print. Now, is there any need for this? I think not. The Saints are doing not all badly although I think they could improve in one or two positions I quite content to let this matter rest with committee, who, I am sure ... are fully alive to the interests of the Perth football public, and are doing their best to raise the standard of football in Perth. Good players are not easily picked nowadays (a fact which "Member" would speedily recognise if he had anything to with football management) and if he will only now repose confidence the local committee I am quite sure it will be fully justified. I not see any necessity for " Member" or any other supporter of the club getting into a panic and writing to the papers because one or two players have not realised expectations. Zander Clark

Great to see young Zander complete another 90 minutes on Sunday. Thought he looked very composed (that dummy on the striker was very cheeky) and his distrubution was immaculate, his kicking accuracy over long distances could be a real weapon for us when starting quick attacks . Add this to his performances in his first 2 pre seaon games & it looks as though we finally have a keeper to really challenge Mannus for the #1 jersey. Having watched him a few times for Qos last year outside the televised games he makes game changing saves & knows when to slow the play down whilst making most saves look easy. He is also a monster & controls his box very well for one so young. Hopefully we will get to see him in action at some point this season & a big well done to the gaffer for sending him out on loan to mature into the excellent young keeper he is now.
