Im technically on my last year of getting me and the young lad in the Ormond stand for £15. After that we will have to pay another £8 to get in the Ormond. Thats still the same as me going in the Main or East on my own so can't complain too much. I'm surprised the Ormond is not used more by families to be honest. Okay the view from the East is arguably better and I would prefer to sit in there but at the end of the day I am at the game supporting the team and can afford to attend more games that way. Saints have done well in this aspect.

If on there was a method whereby you could pay a lump some at the start of the season which meant you could attend two matches per month for a significantly lower rate than paying at the gate for each individual ticket each week...Hmmmm

  4. Come back to the pub league Stevie, clearly can't hack it alongside footballing superstars such as Craig Forsyth, Clayton Donaldson, Daryl Murphy and Kirk Broadfoot.

    League Cup Draw

We were gash the last time we played them. I think its plain to see that they're a much improved side compared to last season and will probably romp that league. Yes its a winnable game but we really need to be on top of our game to come away with that win to be honest.

  7. As far as I am concerned, any Sevco fan who claims that they are the same club as Rangers is a troll by default.

  9. The forum was obviously down yesterday, otherwise I (or someone else) would've set up a thread for Frazer Wright. As we all know, Frazer Wright left the club yesterday. He made 128 appearances for us and I'm sure he scored 5 goals. Wright did the impossible - he actually improved the defence after the departure of Michael Duberry. Every year Wright was with us, we finished top 6 and qualified for Europe. He was also my man of the match in the cup final and scored the winner against Rosenborg in Trondheim. The Anderson and Wright partnership may not have been the prettiest in terms of footballing ability, but they were certainly the most effective pairing at centre back that I can remember playing together for such a sustained time at Saints. Even last season, it was Wright's re-emergence last October that was one of the catalysts for our revival after a horror run of 6 straight defeats. When I saw the rumours about him leaving yesterday morning, I didn't want to believe it. Once it was confirmed, I was pretty gutted. His goodbye message on twitter (which I will add on in a separate post) is extremely sad to read too. The word 'legend' is banded about too much in football nowadays and 4 years at one club wouldn't normally constitute that. But I think the vast majority would put him in that category for all that we achieved with him in the heart of our defence. Everyone who has met him seems to agree that he's a really nice bloke on top of all that too. I'd like to wish Frazer all the very best in his future away from Saints. If he does sign for Dumbarton as is rumoured, then I wish him every success there too. #ThankyouFraz #Goodbyeoldfriend

  16. Last seasons performance there was a joke, felt like we looked on rangers at ibrox like it was still the 90S and talked ourselves out of it. They look much improved this year and it's still debatable if we are better worse or the same as last year. A hard game but not insurmountable, this should be rangers hardest task to date not st johnstone's.

  24. No offence but keeping hens oot o a close is actually quite difficult. I used to get pelters from my Granny for failing to do so and I was quite agile in those days. Trouble was the little sods were quick on their feet and thrawing their necks to teach them a lesson was not allowed.

I think Hooper struggled for goals since he left scotland. If Neil cant get the best out of him I doubt a team like yours that struggles to create chances will.

Yeah, why bother giving a young forward on your books a chance to develop when you can spend tens of millions on ten others and fail to improve, then repeat this every Summer. The money in your leagues corrupted all common sense

  30. OK, think it's only fair to void this round as posts were half what normally would be made. It's not really fair on those who has the result right (of which I am 1) but wouldn't be fair on those who didn't get the chance to predict to give points. Hope everyone sees this as the right thing to do.

In an ideal world £10 for adults and £5 for concessions, however I am realistic enough to know that will never happen. If you step back from your love of St Johnstone, do you really think that paying £22 is correct? At a lot of grounds us, the supporters, get treated with utter disdain by the Police and Stewards. We are not trusted to have an alcoholic beverage, although if you put a suit on and pay £150 for the privellege, you can sit in the stadium and drink until you fall over. Despite Ladbrokes sponsoring the league, at most of the grounds you are not allowed to place a bet. For vast parts of the season we have to sit in freezing cold stadiums, then have to pay riduclous prices to purchase food or drink that taste like it was prepared by a two year old. On top of paying out all this money, clubs also want us to pay £40 to purchase their replica tops, that costs pennys to be made in the Far East. Football clubs have supporters over a barrel, because they know that the vast majority of us are "addicts" and will pay these silly prices.

  32. Was in Lindsay the Butcher during my short trip to Perth over the festive season. The shop in Methven Street hasnt changed at all over the years but the queue was practically out the door. Great to see a traditional and long standing Perth business doing well. Quality produce and friendly customer sevice. Gets my vote as the best Butcher in Perth.
