To me the message for the main political parties now is to avoid being proactive in calling for another election or referendum for the next few years. The public are pissed off with elections and will punish any party that does not realise this. Jeremy is astute enough to pick up on this hence his offer to form a Government in one breath whilst saying in the next that he won't form any alliances to do so. In the unlikely event that he is invited to have a go he can then claim any failure will not be his fault. The "Toarays" on the other hand have been handed a get out of jail card by Nicola's Indyref2 miscalculation in the shape of 13 seats they would be snookered without. Theresa will do penance for her balls up by staying in post for a few months before resigning on health grounds to let someone else have a go. Not Boris unless they really are stupid. The DUP are being used, but they can afford to be since their vote depends on which foot you kick with not on any sensible analvsis. The Toarays hope will be if these efforts run into the sand they can blame someone else for forcing yet another election and then cross their fingers. So Theresa's bum is out the window. The only question is will she outlast Nicola as wee Eck made his intentions clear in his remarks this morning.

Sturgeon got people's backs up with the constant demands for Indy ref 2 and boosted the Unionist parties vote. She should have shut her big gob until the Brexit negotiations had been sorted and would have probably breezed getting a second referendum.

Posters on the main forum are somewhat intimidated and verbally abused by the usual crowd. Might be nice for them to come on to a different forum and talk about stuff like PTOY or European travel. If Scobbie leaves, I suspect it could be this time next year before we know how big an impact it has. He's the go-to man if one of the first choice players are unavailable and has always seemed to accept that role in the squad. There's a mistake in him but he's pretty reliable on balance. If he stays he'll continue to offer the manager that option next season but where does it leave the four young defenders he has coming through? If Scobbie goes it should open up a pathway for them (depending on what happens with Watson) but what if they don't shape up as required? Even allowing, if he does leave then I hope TW at least takes the risk on the young guys and doesn't bring in another experienced defender.

Only worth letting Tam go to the Dee's if we are using his wages to strengthen other areas of the pitch. Liam Gordon or Ally Gilchrist can do the same job Scobbie has done last season. However, if Tommy uses his wages to try and replace him with another average utility defender, I find it hard to believe that we would find a better one....

Mainstand, I'll give you my view on Tasmina. I live in Ochil and South Perthshire and she is useless. She is hardly ever seen in the constituency. She doesn't live here, she lives in Glasgow. Not a peep from Tasmina on issues like the possible closure of Ward 1 at Crieff Cottage Hospital. She's too busy being Fat Eck's lap dog to worry about the poor old folk that might have to be moved if the dementia ward is shut. And no, she shouldn't be standing whilst under investigation.

As Pedro signs yet another of Portugal's finest (?) why do I keep remembering the old Rikki Fulton Ayebroke skit? The one where the new scout produces a wonderful new striker. (Great player boss, 7 goals in the 1st half but had to go to mass so missed the 2nd) I assume Pedro is not too familiar with The The's historical signing policy.
