    Recreation Grounds

When I saw this photo, I hoped it was some part of the Recreation Grounds but if you follow the thread, you'll see it was actually a shop entrance on the road up to the entrance at the end of South Inch Place. I wonder if we'll ever move ground again? There were rumours that the club were looking at the possibility not that long ago...

    Recreation Grounds

Never seen anything that marks the spot but I understood it to be basically where A&J Stephens Builders are based - which is opposite the prison.

    Good question this

Is it still the same wall? To me it looks like the area of wall just above the door is a bit smaller than it was in the Muirton Park days, but otherwise it looks very similar. Totally agree it would have been nice to have a little plaque there. Suppose it's never too late. Don't know if @Watty still reads the forum but I'm pretty sure it was him who said on here a while back that he has the old yellow kiosk thing in his back garden.

  12. There's also the telegraph pole at the rear of Carnegie place where you'd run through some poor guys garden and up and over the fence at said telegraph pole and in behind the enclosure.

  13. I've never really understood what people mean when they talk about one club being "bigger" than another. You see fans of other clubs talking about it on social media all the time. Seriously, who cares if their club is "big" or not? It's completely meaningless. I'm very content with the fact that I support a club that is small but successful. Dunfermline have been under-performing for years now, but then again so have loads of clubs of a similar "size" - Falkirk, Raith Rovers, Partick, Dundee, Airdrie etc. All of them could do what Saints have done in theory, but actually doing it in reality is a completely different matter. To be honest I'd much rather have Dunfermline in the Premier League than Livi or any of the west coast clubs, so if they can get back up then good on them. Ditto Raith Rovers and Inverness Caley.
