  4. No one has said the board are scrambling to get rid of Davidson. People are just expressing their own opinions about what they think should happen. That's what the forum's for. The point I was making was that you've taken a pop at others on here for apparently trying to present themselves as "financial and football experts", but you're doing exactly the same thing in your own posts.

    A time for change?

Tommy was pretty astute when it came to changing his system. He made use of both a back four and back three during his time here, and he was also willing to change things during a game when they weren't going our way. Callum seems to just hope that if he sticks with what he's doing it'll eventually work. Time after time this season we've lost games because our plan has been ineffective and we've run out of steam, and Callum has waited until we're a goal down before trying to make a change. His actions during games are nearly always reactive, hardly ever proactive. We're not in this situation because of bad luck. We're here because it's what our performances deserve.

  8. A lot of what Saints have done lately makes no sense. It's where bad planning has brought us to. But you don't carry on along the wrong path just because you're already halfway along it. I was on board with giving him the transfer window and winter break to try to make changes and improve us. I was never confident that it would work, but I believed he deserved that chance. Unfortunately, very little has changed. We've still not scored any goals. We're still playing in exactly the same ineffective way. No attempt has been made to try a different system. The players look even more baffled and disorganised than they did before. I actually think we've gotten worse, not better. (And I really, really hope that I'm proven wrong on that tomorrow night.) We all know that what we say on here isn't actually going to change things, so it's really not necessary to keep pointing it out.

  12. The Forrest one is strange. If we were discussing a pre-contract with his agent, you would have thought there must have been a bit of 'encouragement' to make us agree a transfer fee. If he had no intention of making up his mind until the summer then I would have expected the agent to say so to us....save a lot of hassle all round.

I think you're confusing fact with opinion in a lot of your posts. You don't know Davidson won't be sacked, but you're continually stating he won't be as if it's fact. I haven't seen anyone attack you, just disagree with you.

  18. Don’t think we’ve been lucky with May since he moved to Sheffield. Disagree that it’s luck too. It’s good work in the youth system and beyond that led to the development of all of those guys surely.

Another fact . I’m the only one saying vocally ( as the vote to sack him or not was private ) he won’t be getting sacked anytime soon and I’ve been attacked for it as if it was me keeping him in the job I’m hoping we get out this situation as like everyone has said it will be a disaster financially. As a supporter visiting the likes of Falkirk Dunfermline Ayr is always a great laugh and the some of the younger fans have yet to experience that except cup games . Again , I’m not wanting this , just before folk attack me again , I’m just stating a fact

  20. Surely that name should be changed to "Cagey Glass half Empty" On the other hand a win and results going our way we will up into 11th and 6 behind 8th place with 18 points to be played for against these 3 teams above us between now and the end of the season. There i will cheer you up and give a wee better outlook on life

  29. The only loyalty in football is generally the fans, the player will chase the money or move to a bigger club etc, that’s the business, in 10 years time when all the players who took the field against Kelty have long moved on or retired, the only constant will be the supporter who puts their hand in their kick each week who attends games, buys merchandise and supports the club both physically and emotionally. Not all players are like that and every club will have stalwarts who buy into what the fans go through each week and they will get it that the fans are frustrated and will totally understand that the fans passion whether it’s some fans yelling abuse or fans holding up signs saying Joe Blow out for example is all down to them only wanting the best for their club.
