  1. If Tommy could tell the players to stop mucking about with the ball in attacking set plays that would be fantastic. I don't how many times we have to concede from doing that before the players get it in to their heads. As usual we are our own downfall, they weren't threatening much until we gave them a goal and then we just stopped defending the rest of the game. Poor stuff. Fluffed two or three good chances as well. Home to Motherwell next , someone upfront with May would be decent. He's been isolated in both games so far.
  2. Any reason Tommy has changed our formation? We never do well with a back 3 and wing backs.
  3. Just saw the bbc highlights and you're right enough about Callachan getting there first.
  4. I actually thought the Aberdeen player got the ball on the Callaghan penalty shout, though it was hard to tell from where i was sitting. Thought Kennedys shout was a penalty though. As soon as Alston came on I thought we'd win. The team had been screaming for that kind of change, someone to take the ball in the middle and run forward with it. Apart from small spells we were just giving them cheap possession all game and it was just coming back on us all the time. Fortunately they are absolutely powder puff and were never coming close to scoring all night.
  5. I didn't think we'd take anything from this, didn't think we'd have ''the fight'' in us to do it. We are pretty powderpuff in the middle and at the back and there's 2 things I'm not understanding. The 1st is - why has Liam Gordon been relegated the bench? Him and Kerr are the future at the back and he looks stronger and better than Joe and Ando at the back. He needs games, sitting on the bench is no good for him, or us. The 2nd is, the centre midfield being an obvious weak point, why have we stopped putting 3 in the middle with the 2 wingers on the outside? I think we played our best attacking football with Watt upfront and Wright and Kennedy bombing forward every chance they got and Alston charging forward through the middle. Every time I've seen us play with a midfield 4 we've been over run pretty easily.
  6. Out without a whimper. Made no attempt to beat them tonight. Too worried about losing instead of having a good go at them like other teams have and gotten the better of them.
  7. I really enjoy watching a parked bus right from kick off.
  8. Something has to change sooner rather than later otherwise we will be relegated. I'd much rather Tommy brought in the young players like Gordon, Comrie etc than see him sacked. Week in week out he says the same thing after a defeat and yet we see the same players every week. He is going to ruin his name by sticking with the old guard. Bullet proof Biscuit tin Brown needs to take a long hard look at himself. Instead of giving Tommy a real platform to continually build and grow the squad he has fed him scraps, killed any feel good factor going at the club and just isn't a patch on his old man.
  9. Sounding like 1 way traffic for most of the half..
  10. Think the poll is fair enough seeing as we have a top 3 players poll and our form has been up and down.
  11. Well that wasn't very bright from Anderson...
  12. If you've ever had a season ticket or bought tickets before you should be on the data base. I don't have a season ticket and usually miss out on getting a voucher at the games but I had a season ticket 3 or 4 year ago and that's good enough for them.
  13. Seeing as Belgium beat Bosnia last night a win puts us in to the play offs. Anything less than a win and we'll miss out, no chance Slovakia will drop points to Malta at home.
  14. Paton was the same when Muzz got the winner. I canna imagine what it was aimed at.. ha Paton was MOTM for me, the man is a beast. Cummins put in another good showing, did everything apart from. Well done for Tommy changing it early in the 2nd half. Tanser put in some brilliant crosses, wouldn't mind seeing him get a chance at left back or down the flank again. Good to see Millar come on at the end, fantastic reception for him.
