Eh no.... you've got the wrong end of the stick entirely.... That part you quoted was entirely sarcastic.

I'll be surprised if there isn't any trouble in Glasgow when they come calling for the qualifier. I'm still no planning a fight just so you know

The only thing I'm surprised at is that they couldn't wait until they got pumped out on penalties before they kicked off. Not surprised the Russians went in and gave them a doing though. Bunch of wee pretenders thinking they're tough.

It'll be so much fun when they come up here for the world cup qualifier....

This is a decent article about the improvement in Icelandic football - https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/jun/08/iceland-stunning-rise-euro-2016-gylfi-sigurdsson-lars-lagerback
Funnily enough the Scottish chap interviewed suggests there are issues at the top of our game with the people paying themselves all the money.

Tam Scobbie is exactly the type of player every club needs. Need a left back? He'll play. Need a centre half? He'll play. Need a midfielder? He'll play. Need a goalie? Tam will do it. Need a player to get totally wasted after a great Euro performance and spend a night with the fans celebrating?  He'll do it. Important penalty in a Euro game? Tam will take it.
Honestly, he may have his limitations but you can't fault the guy. If you asked him clean the bloody toilets for Saints I'm sure he'd do it.
I also think it's easy to remember his mistakes but who remembers all of his last ditch, goal saving tackles? He puts it on the line every time he plays. St Johnstone are where we are now because of the Tam Scobbie's,  not because of fancy, flashy footballers.

I was quite happy to see Collum not go on a booking spree and send everyone off as per usual. I don't think the Celtic keeper carrying the ball over the line was a booking and I know the rules are there but I wouldn't have booked Griffiths for that celebration.

We're fifth ya muppet.  We still have a very good chance of Europe.  How is the season a write-off?
As for your comments about Midge, you should be ashamed of them.  He's been a fantastic servant for Saints and does not deserve to be called a bottler or quitter by you or anyone else.  Tommy said earlier in the season that they had 2 options with his injury.  Either manage it from game to game or take him out for 6 weeks.  It's clear that the wrong option was taken.  Whose fault that is we don't know without being party to conversations between the manager, the medical team and the player.  Now answer this question honestly -  are you party to these conversations?  Or do you have medical qualifications that mean you can evaluate the extent of an injury to a player while sitting in the stand?  I may be wrong, but I think the answer to both of these questions is no.  So to deride the player in the manner you have is pretty pathetic really.
And make up your mind about Watson will you?  One minute he's a poor choice, then potentially a great signing and now you're saying he's injury prone.  Which is it?

If Scott Brown can't get in the middle of the park ahead of Wotherspoon after that shambolic performance from him then he needs a new career altogether.

As far as I'm aware, it's not written as a law that you have to pay for tv licence. It's down as an act, which is something you either agree to or not.

I don't think they can force entry as it is BBC policy to never force entry in to a house, bogus warrant or not. They need some legit proof that you have been using a TV or whatever to get a warrant and I'm pretty sure it'll need a wet ink signature from a sheriff. The police are there to make sure there is no breach of the peace or laws broken and shouldn't try and come in to your house either, whether they do or not is another matter....

Basically if you know it's them at the door don't even answer it, if you do then you are free to shut it again without speaking to them, And if they ask you to ''confirm your name'' don't. They don't have it in the 1st place, it's a trick.

Also if you have a fence or a wall around your house you can write to the bbc saying that the foundations of your house stop just before the fence and you give them no permission to walk there. If you were down south you can state that ''right of implied access'' is denied.

I can see us pulling off a shitfest win between two crap sides. Here's hoping anyway. At some point, with Celticlikely to win the cup, and fourth means Europe, it will all click just in time, and on July 5th or something, we will be going mental about our exciting European home game against Kystanisxphubnia Athletic from the Narnia fourth division. The Tulloch will open all day for the home leg, some of you will pay 2 months wages to travel to Kystanisxphubnia for the return leg, Kane will score 10 goals in 11 games and attract derisory offers from Rothwedpeter Town, and all will be back to normal.

I was 10 watching that on the tv, Only thing i remember about it is ''that goal'' from Biscuits.

Can't believe we have such a poor record in semi finals despite reaching quite a few and with good teams as well, with the exception of Motherwell and Aberdeen they've all been really close too... Still can't believe Rangers beat us in that Scottish Cup Semi either, thought we had it in the bag. They were terrible. An all 1st division final it would have been too.

The Scottish Cup Semi against Aberdeen more than made up for anything else though. After watching Pawlett ghost through us and set up McGinn in the 15th minute I thought we were done but then in the 2nd half Stevie May decided to tell the Aberdeen fans just who the f**k he was. Wasn't even gonna go to that 1 as well but my dad, a part time Gers fan, decided we were going whether I wanted to or not.

The 3-0 win over Hearts at Easter Road remains one of my favourite ever Saints matches. A terrific Saints team of players at the absolute peak of their powers, when Sandy Clark was still new in the job and we were absolutely flying. We destroyed Hearts that night. And what a goal from Biscuits.
Most heart-breaking for me would be the penalty shoot-out defeat to Rangers. Really felt like we were actually going to do it that day. Particularly gutted for Jody Morris who missed his penalty that day but was such a great player for us.
Sh*ttest would be either the hammering from Motherwell or last season's League Cup defeat from Aberdeen - both were a complete collapse from really good Saints teams who should have done much better.

Emm.. On his Wikipedia page, there's a link to a newspaper article in which he describes himself as a left winger. I'm going to stick my neck out and say that this information is probably more reliable than the opinions of fergiefootball on WeArePerth.

Yeah he did, but he can be absolutely magnificent and do something no one else in the team can and at the same time he is just as likely to make an arse of things and end up costing us. I think he is better out wide or further up the pitch.
