All you ask when you go to Celtic Park is too be treated fairly and for the 5th time in a row we have been cheated by the officals, it's beyond belief why we have not put complaints in as it it getting beyond a joke, every time.

In the highlights you can see Celtic fans putting their hands on their heads as they know its a stonewall penalty, mixed in with the Tony Watt situation it beyond poor

I would love to see us regularly getting home attendances of 6000 plus, however its just not going to happen. Historically our attendances have always been low, apart from when attendances increased significantly after McDiarmid was first built. I was reading through a few issues of the glorious Wendy Who? Fanzine the other night and even back in the early/mid 90's the discussion was centred on Saints poor attendances and what could be done to attract people to watch the game.

There is no quick fix, we need to accept our support is what it is and that its not suddenly going to increase significantly overnight. The board should be given credit for the kids go free deal, however as others have said I feel the club should have promoted this deal much more.

Ancientsaint commented that he felt that Scottish Football is ready to go tits up, however I dont feel this is the case and even if it does, then it might well be the best thing that could happen to our game. I have no sympathy for clubs like Hearts and Dunfermline, whom are both on the brink. They have spent well beyond their means for years and it has now caught up on them. Scottish football will always exisit in some form, there is too much passion in this country for it not to. Perhaps some of these clubs going burst may be the best thing to happen long term to the game? Clubs will no longer life beyond their means and we might have a more even playing field, which might encourage stayway fan to return to the game.

Whatever happens, we are in the fortunate position to know that our club will survive and hopefully thrive in the next few years.

I can stand Scottish teams like Saints and Motherwell being beaten fairly and squarely in Europe. But I find it humiliating that we are not more alert to old Rangers debts. Not only do they owe Rapid Vienna significant sums of money - there is a knock-on effect. Rapid owe Jelavic’s previous side, Zulte-Waregem in Belgium, €325,000 as part of a sell-on clause. This is a club the size of Falkirk. If that had happened to Saints, and as a consequence a club in Austria or Belgium hadn't paid us for a big player and we faced financial ruin, there would be melt down on this forum. There is a very simple morality here. If Dundee Utd get paid - fine. But that does not legitimise cheating clubs abroad, and I suspect UEFA agree. For those that find morality boring by all means read another thread, but this one has two or three years to go yet before it can reasonably be closed, and it impacts on St Johsntone to this day. We have lived through the biggest and most scandalous fraud in the history of Scottish football and anyone who thinks its over is not paying attention.
