  1. Brilliant stuff from the boys tonight. All put in a power of work and had the desire to win from start to finish. Love it when we close down the defenders and almost stole if before the breakaway goal for Celtic. We got our reward a few minutes later - you've got to work hard to create the opportunities and I love that - closing down the keeper etc. Macca does that brilliantly and leads the line so well. What work rate. Swanson played his best game and showed some good touches and intelligent play. Think he enjoyed that tonight. Liam and Brown were also great in the centre. Cummins worked hard and so glad to see him score. Getting back to his best. Shout out to our support for making plenty of noise throughout the game and the last 20 minutes were fantastic. Only two defeats in top 6 matches in last 3 years with two being before the Scottish Cup final and only team with 100% record this year. Fantastic. One more push on Sunday with no pressure. Was raging at ref with so many of his decisions. Hopeless.
  2. Great team performance so all of the above but went for Swanson. Best I've seen him play since coming back looked form like he was enjoying himself out there. Hope he brings that against the team that let him go on Sunday.
  3. Expect a massive Aberdeen support to Perth to make up the gap on Celtic and revenge for 5-1 result. So tin helmets on - need to give the team our support more than ever. Got to be positive - our same team has come back and have won games against the odds with 10 men. A lot of the form issues are in the mind... we can do this.
  4. Macca for workrate commitment and some great lay-offs / touches. Muzza was also great today.
  5. Frustrated with O'Halloran today as it looks like he had given up the cause early on and maybe the missed chances got to him. His anticipation to running into space and look for through balls is poor. When he has the ball at his feet he is fantastic and exciting player but I think he needs to be alert and ready to take flight and chase down some lost causes ... too often looks like his mind is elsewhere.... In contrast Davidson and McLean were their usual - awesome work rate and commitment with never say die attitude. Millar played so well until he went off. Hope they figure out how to manage the hamstring issue. On his day he is our best player. Defence needs serious work on set pieces this week ahead of Hearts match which is massive for us - they'll be watching that and looking to exploit. Agree Brad may deserve a chance in the team but after his first match against Hearts had such a terrible start on first day of season I think he should sit out this next game.
  6. My son's first away trip on supporters bus with his friend and not dad. What an experience for first solo away day. Will have been a happy bus down the road tonight. I was there when Kano scored to put us into Europe and I thought that was a great performance and result .... COYS! Carlsberg Day!!
  7. Fantastic performance from the whole Saints team. Worst I've seen from United in years so no surprise when MacNamara goes. Referee did his best to give them all the decisions. Officials had a terrible day. Team dug in and gave everything and looked so good on the ball. Craig looking back to his best and seems to be enjoying his football again - seems a great signing for us. Had a feeling Cummins would score today and what a way to do it. Brilliant leap and header and he worked tirelessly throughout. Fantastic when Lappin on in 79th minute scores in 80th - delightful touch to finish off United. Big Zander was great coming on and hope he can keep that up and takes his chance while Manus is suspended. Aside from his mistake leading up to the sending off Tam Scobbie had a great game today. Dave Mackay - what a captain so steady at the back. What a great day to be a Saintie and follows such a great display in the cup. Let's keep it up next week against the sheep who have now lost two in a row.
  8. Going to need to rally the troops next week. Even a scrappy win and we can work into performance in the next tie. In Tommy we trust.... he will kick ass...
  9. Doesn't seem even riot police can control them in any way. Definitely not an advert for a friendly visit to a quaint city and club .... Lucerne was magic but this could be tragic. Going to have to think very carefully about whether this would be worth the risk.
  10. Would LOVE to see Sutton score against them. He'll be right up for it I'm sure.
  11. Your nephew was duped as U12s are free in East stand. 2 U12s with each adult ticket purchased.
  12. Fans on way back from game
  13. Yes - that is one of them. There are another two I have posted so far thanks.
