What they are saying is correct. The fact that they are not former professional goalkeepers or goalkeeping coaches doesn't change that. His failure, or inability to command the box at 90% of set pieces puts us under a lot of pressure. He doesn't come for cross balls a lot and when he does he's pretty bad at it. I'm not a goalkeeping coach either, by the way.

He was booed and he was ironically cheered off the pitch when substituted.I agree he shouldn't have been selected, but that was the manager's decision and it doesn't excuse the ridiculous reaction from some of the fans.

90 minutes into the season and the early contenders for the "Annual WAP Scapegoat" is up and running. Alston and Cummins look like the early leaders, with Liam Craig closing in on them fast, Coulson a surprise early nominee despite only playing for three minutes.

If they are good enough then they will be played and it's laughable to suggest otherwise. They would also be disillusioned by being played before they were ready and being slaughtered from the main stand moaners.
