  1. I can kind of see Fowler's point of view here, even the Saints commentators in the highlights said that McPake wasn't our penalty taker. Fowler was taking pens for QP all season, so, to me, it would have made sense for Fowler to take it. All of this is irrelevant, however, if there was a contingency instruction in place for pens if Gullan was off the park 🤷‍♀️
  2. For those wishing to make an occasion of it, I note that official club ties have finally made it back into the club shop!!!! ⏱️
  3. OK, looks like you and the OP are both right then - I'll assume the OP was considering results in a league called the Premier Division, so Saints would hold that record so far right? Your Ayr start would relate to the old First (top) Division 👍
  4. I'm not a statto as we all know 😂 thus was just translating what you didn't appear to understand. Don't be coy, don't keep us in suspense, tell us what the OP got wrong and myself, by extension......
  5. Livi could finish the season with less than 3 wins, a record Saints hold from that nightmare season.
  6. I'd suggest that a very close watch would be kept on the players with temptation like that on their doorstep - I'm sure this will already have been considered and provisions suggested.
  7. After the pub was out of fashion (and clubs started weighing their players daily), came the bookies and puggies, now I think they just spend their afternoons/wages getting tattooed. To be fair, I once interviewed a player in the Sturrock era who had a fearsome reputation and I asked him about hobbies/what he did with his time. He explained, rather depressingly, that his "burd wiz at work" and all his mates had proper jobs so weren't around in the afternoons when he finished training at 2pm, so he just went down the amusement arcade and played until his wife/gf or mates finished work.
  8. Thelin was binned by Aberdeen in early January and there was thinking that they may go for the Motherwell fella, I think Kettlewell left Killie in January too, so there were at least 2 vacant SPFL managers jobs up for grabs. Simo had(has) us top of the league and top in all metrics, so he'd have been an obvious contender for these posts.
  9. As I remember it, was there not a realistic opening at Motherwell (or another PL club) at the time the decision was made to extend?
  10. To remember all the Saints fans that we have lost throughout the season. https://www.perthstjohnstonefc.co.uk/news/article/remembrance-roll-of-honour/
  11. I understand this issue will be resolved imminently.
  12. The Three Wise Men return with more sage views.... 😉
