  1. He had a very good first half, faded a bit in the second. He seemed to want to make the difficult pass at times when the simpler option outside to the overlapping full back in space was the obvious one. Think a year on loan to a Championship team would benefit him, as in my opinion, he's not ready to be a first team starter
  2. Having been at the game last night as well, I think you've given a very accurate summary of it. The poor defending, lack of a killer pass and poor finishing was a mirror of the first team. We spent the 2nd half right behind the dugout and it was refreshing to hear Liam encouraging the players to encourage each other and have a positive mindset.
  3. Gave my vote to Jamie McCart again - another great defensive performance and a thumping header to win the game.
  4. Nice to have a choice this week with everyone putting in a shift - a real team performance. Gave my vote to Jamie McCart - he's taken a lot of stick from some people but his distribution was so much better on Sat plus a superb defensive performance.
  5. Went for Michael O'Halloran. Thought he looked much more like the player we had previously. Next season we will have him, Kennedy and Drey Wright giving us much needed pace - all we need now is a 15+ goal a season striker to bang them in - over to you Tommy!!
  6. Another vote for Scott Tanser. The season started full of hope with some exciting signings and for a couple of months we were playing some good stuff but any moments, never mind magic ones, have been hard to find in 2019
  7. Matty Kennedy for me, closely followed by Callaghan who despite a few misplaced passes gave us so much more energy in midfield.
  8. Gave my vote to Callaghan who impressed with his energy and eagerness to drive forward.
  9. Again a really outstanding team performance but the unanimous winner in the Highland Saints car as it headed north was Matty Kennedy.
  10. Sevco 2-1 up. Ball goes out for goalkick, Ballboy throws ball to McGregor who deliberately punches it onto the roof of the net to waste time - no booking. Minute later same situation but this time ballboy throws ball back but this time Mcgregor pretends to miss it and further pretends he cant stop as he looks as if hes running on ice. - no booking Final whistle goes and he immediately heads to the officials to berate them about something. Scottish football - one league - two sets of rules.
  11. Any of the starting 11 could have got my vote but went for Matty Kennedy in the end. Worked his socks off in the lone striker role and took his goal brilliantly.
  12. No fight No leadership on or off the pitch in the first half No apology afterwards to the fans.
  13. Zander for me. Wright, Alston, Foster and Ando in the 2nd half the only others that got pass marks.
  14. David McMillan gets my vote this week. Great header for the goal and as Paulo has mentioned, won some great defensive headers at corners and free kicks when we were defending second half.
  15. Went for Richard Foster this week. Thought both defensively and getting forward he was excellent but Wright deserves massive credit for covering for him when he does push up. Great partnership forming there.
  16. For the second game in a row, I voted for Perth's answer to Franz Beckenbauer. Liam Gordon strolled through the game and it makes us look a decent footballing side when we have two centre backs (Jason Kerr being the other) who are comfortable on the ball and can play it forward along the deck. Tommy has some big decisions to make when the league campaign starts.
  17. Liam Gordon. Couple of great sliding tackles later in the game that he timed to perfection. Good to hear someone organise the defence throughout the game - we've lacked a vocal presence since Frazer left
  18. With only one game in the highlands this season choice is a bit limited but my vote is also for Zander but for different reasons - not that I didn't enjoy his recent " match day analysis with McCann" after the final whistle. His double save from Billy McKay secured a point for us in a match that we should have wrapped up at half time and shows we are in safe hands for next season.
  19. Got 2 spare seats in the car for anyone thinking about Tynecastle this weekend and Scottish Cup glory. Leaving Inverness at 1000
  20. This is the figure that's reported in the P&J as well and is the figure that anybody not at the game sees. We get slaughtered for our crowds but this figure is just a blatant lie. The crowd was less than 2,000 and I know the argument that some clubs count season ticket holders but last nights figure must include every steward outside the ground , people passing on the way to the train station and the staff at the Mallard bar and every other bar and hotel in Dingwall.
  21. Chris Millar for me. As many have commented we actually look like a decent football team with him in the team rather than a sunday pub team playing hoofball.
  22. I wonder if the compliance officer is going to have a look at the actions of the Rangers player( not interested enough in them to know his name) who rolled about in our box breakdancing and screaming as if he'd broken his leg, has a sly glance up to see that they've scored their third goal, and leaps to his feet to join in the celebrations! How much more blatant cheating goes unpunished by them? From start to finish the game had a toxic atmosphere to it. First time in 40 years I've been told to take my woolly hat off and get it searched for concealed weapons! to the bully boy tactics and intimidation trying to leave Tesco car park. And we are told we need them to make Scottish football stronger. Why doesn't Regan, Doncaster and the rest put on a Saints/ Patrick/Ross County scarf and go to a match and actually see what the rest of Scottish football has to put up with!!
  23. In a week when our ex small national team manager put small players under the spotlight our smallest player was head and shoulders above most others. Stefans vision and passing was outstanding but he needs others to make the runs and find the space that his prompting deserve.
