Yeah taking the cup to factories, businesses schools and working on the local community is shocking. Offering family season tickets under 12 free admission all of these things are dead because of a website.
 
maybe those of us that are older will remember when we were not so dependent on computers and websites. Yes it would be better if the site was updated but the personal approach to entice fans along will work a lot better than the website.

Last year, one of the highlights of the trip to the Rosenborg match was getting a guided tour of the Lerkendahl Stadium on the day of the game.  I see from the Swissporarena website that tours are possible there too, so I have contacted FC Luzern to ask about details, need for pre-booking etc.  I have asked specifically about the morning of the match (Thursday 17th).
 
I am sure others on here will be interested too - so I will let you know the response and what you need to do as soon as I hear back from the club.

I am not a bus convenor or the treasurer .but what I gather is that a lot of the buses run at a loss through lack of travelling numbers .

However , the loss is recouped through football cards on the the buses and the substantial increase in travelling numbers for big games i.e. The Cup semi final and the Cup Final .

The buses are run to break even .
Any profit /loss is carried over to the following season .
This in no way impacts on what is donated to Saints as your post suggests .

The raising of funds for the Saints Youth Development/Academy is a separate entity

To clarify , none of the funds raised go to support away or home buses.

Les this has been aired at past meetings of Barossa Saints with former committee member (s) suggesting the buses should be run at £5 or free .
Vote carried at the time was to continue at £10 for adults and £7 for Oap's .

Logic ....Barossa are not in competition with Mc D.
We all support the same Team and £10 is a fair and reasonable amount to cover the cost of the bus to away games .

Although I qualify for the £7 fare. I pay the £10 fare in support of my Club and bus .

This time I'm hoping (if the game is the Sunday) we will have BIG smiles on our faces as it will mean we are in the play off round.

I could state the obvious that we have enough betting shops in Perth but i think i would rather have another bookies rather than have another empty unit. Theres plenty on here and around the city moaning about the amount of premises sitting empty and being an eyesore.

Why not??  Might it not have been better to start with him and  replace him after half time?? Maybe would have helped give us a lead? The thing is, have a look at how we do if we score first as opposed to how we do if we concede first.. I am not   saying McLean shouls have played a full 90 minutes but  as we all know, when we lose the first goal we get  nothing ( only two points all season after conceding the opening goal)  Only my opinion of course.

Not sure who won the framed top BUT Ian Munro won the football and then handed it back to be raffled for free to all the children in attendance -Ian drew the winning ticket and the youngster who won I believe was Nathan Green.

The raffle raised £216.

A great gesture. I had my boys at their first "away day" and they loved it. Thing that puts us off going to more is that the youngest does karate that finishes at 12.30 on a Sat, so home games at 3pm are the only ones we really have time for.

Not sure who won the framed top BUT Ian Munro won the football and then handed it back to be raffled for free to all the children in attendance -Ian drew the winning ticket and the youngster who won I believe was Nathan Green.

The raffle raised £216.

A couple of the raffle books were of the same colour BUT had different Serial numbers thereon -The 2 x Tonys did the draw and read out the winning serial numbers.
