  1. Other forum for that nonsense! Former player who is likely still in contract until the end of the month! Also one in particular that the majority of fans would have liked to stay and therefore will want to see fixed up somewhere as soon as possible. Aside from that, he is also in the middle of his testimonial year with a game to come next month! Deserves a lot more respect than that!
  2. I'm sure the ground staff know what they are doing... I am by no means an expert but would suggest that have 000's of people trampling seed into the soil underneath may not be a bad thing.
  3. I had the same phone call yesterday. The first call I've had granted since I ordered it more than two months ago. Appreciate it may not have been the clubs fault but for all the time it took the guy to call and update me, more of that level of communication would have helped.
  4. I meant match balls but even still, poor show. I also am happy to hear it disguises the belly!
  5. All the more disconcerting that most of you have received yours. The line "the company have ran out of the material" also increasingly seems like BS given how reputable they are and how much other business they conduct, as mentioned before with Aberdeen in particular. That I guess would be equivalent to Saints running out of footballs!!
  6. You still waiting as well then? Were you given any indication on when you can expect to receive it? The girl on reception I spoke to today said the club are in dispute around paying the bill which can't be helping in ensuring the company fulfil the rest of the order. She also said to me that those who have been made to wait will be given a £10 refund on receiving their shirt. Didn't get a very warming response when I suggested that giving it to customers now might help. Also that's another case of the club not thinking about things. Instead of that give us a voucher for use in the club shop so the money goes back into the club.
  7. I take it you are still without yours? I received no contact from anyone and have been left to chase them up. My worry now is that with them initially thinking mine had been sent and having had no contact, do they genuinely believe mine has been posted. Seems little organisation in terms of what is going on and no logical ordering in them being sent out. Heard of a few who I told about them having had theirs and I'm still waiting, £40 down!
  8. Anyone else having issues getting their shirt order sorted? Ordered mine back at the end of April and having had the money taken for it, I'm now being told they have had an issue with the supplier and only half have been received by the club. Very disconcerting to be told firstly that mine was dispatched to me, despite having asked to collect it from the stadium, to then be told, no actually it's not, yours is one of the ones we haven't received yet. Pretty pissed off given that I know people who placed their order after me have theirs. Seems our club aren't just shite at getting season tickets and playing kit announced they also can't fulfil orders they've received the money for, nor can they communicate with customers to let them know!!!
  9. I think speculation with a hint of realism is required here and I hope that now with the circus of deadline day being over we have maybe gained some. As was mentioned his release was only really public at half 8 last night meaning that he was then free to discuss terms with other clubs. He was set to play for their u21's until he was pulled out early afternoon. We are a club of limited resources so I imagine he was making his own way up for talks in the absence of a private jet or helicopter. Overall expecting it to be done last night was probably both unrealistic and unnecessary.
  10. It's an interesting argument to be fair. Do we continue to charge £22, knowing it will put some off and we will only ever get the core support we get currently or do we hedge our bets and charge £15. We might a few hundred extra through the turnstiles but with the additional cost of stewarding etc we might be no better off. I would like to think the club have done their sums on this!
  11. Ah okay. Though I remembered paying £25 for the East a couple of seasons back and it was the usual quid extra for the West. Cheers.
  12. Just noticed the article on the website with the admission prices for Saturday being £22/£23 for East/West. Been a couple of years since I have had to pay at the turnstiles but from memory this is less than it used to be. Did I miss something or is my memory failing me? Fair play to the club if they have reduced prices!!
  13. Three stewards in the east stand trying to control a small pocket of about 50 rowdy saints fans, the same number as in each of the stands of Celtic fans! Total shambles, let them enjoy the game and try to create an atmosphere. Get it sorted Saints!!!
  14. I honestly don't see where the feeling that MacLean is excused of any criticism comes from. People in the stands rant at Wotherspoon yet MacLean on Saturday added very little in comparison. At one point Swanson had the ball in a good crossing position but there was nobody in the box so he had to play it back down the line to, yep MacLean! He has never been a clinical forward but he should be giving more than two goals all season. He needs to at least get in the right positions to score. I also saw on at least two occasions him leaving passes short and rather than accept responsibility he had a go at other players. I do like him but he shouldn't be picked ahead of Graham at the moment in my opinion.
  15. Couple of players on both sides tonight look handy. Like the look of Sibbald and Vaulks of Falkirk and Reilly and McShane of Queens. Should definitely be looking at the lowers leagues going by a few that have moved up and done very well.

    Cup Top Up

Just wondering, I have recently moved my season ticket over to the main stand and noticed a small exit to the south end of the stand about dugout level for the first time. Is this an entrance to/from the Muirton suite? A lot of people heading in and out of it so is anyone free to use this?
  17. Think the council need to focus more on the current congestion on the dunkeld road rather than the Crieff Road. Not really opposed to this however as long as Saints come out financially better off and that the work on no way touches the Garden of remembrance.
  18. Any idea on the score and scorers in the bounce game?
  19. Being a Saints and Liverpool fan I'm glad to see Adam Morgan joining Saints and have watched a fair bit of him. In his teens he was a brilliant striker and scored consistantly through all ages groups. Unfortunately after that praise from Fowler and the weight of expectation he didn't seem able to make the step up. Played against Hearts from the bench a couple of years ago in the Europa League and again failed to impress. Hasn't worked out at Yeovil but I genuinely think he could do some damage in the SPFL and I really hope he does well.
  20. Brilliant idea and great organisation by the sounds of it. Will definitely be heading up after work, just hope there is still space by then!
  21. Sounds like they are having the best of it so far. Second half could be a struggle with fitness and the heat over there. COYS!!
  22. Extremely worrying, no new deal yet, when it has been spoken about for months, for our most prized asset and manager, late off the mark with season tickets, website never being updated and now no budget for the manager however long he is there for to stengthen. We must have made a decent amount in prize money to cover a reduced budget and allow the manager to at least replace those he has released!?
  23. I had thought there was talk earlier in this thread that we were in discussions around a new sponsor? Surely now would be the time to increase revenue on that front on the back of the cup win!?
