  1. Thats the problem if we can move them on great if we swap them we get someone elses shite it a sign of the times
  2. For me, Adams,Mooner,May,Robertson,Anderson, need to play every game to see if they are up to the consistency/fitness required for next season and hopefully end the season on a resonable high as regulars, Murray we know what he can do if he gets his move then he will be gone next year.I would mabey keep Peso for experience, workrate and the odd goal as cheap option. Jackson,Gartland,Taylor,Maybury,Parker,Invincible,Smith move on if we can and hope we can get young, fast, hungray in for the same wages.
  3. Thats a good point to get over TP probably Dave and Muzz could be utilised in that respect
  4. Tony it is an issue now with the standard of salary now on offer around the scottish game travelling cost can come into it Owen Coyle struggled to get players come up to perth during his time probabably how we now train at stirling
  5. Like Andrew,Bobby i have seen us loose most of our semi final/finals before even as far back as 1968 when we came away with the feeling of being robbed yesterday was the same feeling for me as after the East End park defeat by Dundee utd. The old story yesterday for me we score first different game.
  6. Agreed aincient. Not only do we not have the funds for major changes we need to then entice players away from the Greater Glasgow area. indeed Motherwell,Hamilton,St Mirren,Kilmarnock,Falkirk etc. Have more appeall to players than travelling up to Perth especially youngsters who i feel is the way ahead and not past it hasbeens from down south or players returning for last pay days.
  7. Fill the Ormand stand with free season tickets for kids and parents next season, apply and issue the tickets. Then when you go to the match you pay say £20 (or what ever) parent +2 kids = possible £8000 per game back for saints. Then the following season what you paid at the gate goes towards your next year season ticket pro rato. mabey something like the 10 games, 15 games,etc.etc. I got my first season ticket as a present for my birthday from family and i put away each match day now £20 cost of entry and i pay for next season,s tickets this way. I know it sounds easy but i have been there with me and three kids going to the match and no way could i afford it then mabey now i could afford to sponser a season ticket for a kid to support St Johnstone in the above free season tickets to get it started. ( Bit like getting a lift over in the old days) could it work
  8. Got the belt from Bert RIP and Tich norman RIP (Small but could lay the belt) and banned from football/rugby all sport for the term because i pulled out of the first ever grammar opera which was held at the tech college because the grammar was being rebuilt/knocked down around us so we had no hall to put the show on i found out early that Scotland was playing Ziare in the world cup on the opening night so i said i had a sore throat after spending weeks rehersing every afternoon up at the college they seemed to think i abused the situation . Ma Terrace the french teacher was ace (You Sir)
  9. Yep said the same he is going to get sent off, If only we could do the same with the horses
  10. I have been called many things in my years MS but this is the worst yet me a celtic fan it is a conspiracie
  11. Heard on the conspiracy grape vine that Swanson is Gartlands best mate? So if he gets Ando sent off GARTLAND back in the hunt for semi place
  12. I would say no but i am not sure he looked a bit young for him both seemed to know chriss hughton as they met at half time
  13. I remember the chippy but like you can not remeber the name what i always remember is if he did not get his fish delivered in the mornining and the delivery turned up late afternoon he would refuse it and Robert sold it in the Auld Hoose that night strange guy. I heard he started the chippy in Methven after this but i am not deffo
  14. No problems TS i dont do slagging matchs i know very well which pub it would be and the one you describe would indeed be the one where he was that night in fact i was in the lounge that particular night myself surprised i do not know you though if this is you local
  15. A long wait for a pie and soup but the soup was homemade soup brilliant.
  16. Ray Stewart was the most level headed guy you could come across he would be so shy to comment on another proffesional player. Also surprised if he was in your local pub (which was) as since i have known him since we were at primary school and he is not a great drinker? Must admit i told him he was making a mistake when he signed for the team he always supported as a boy as his injures were well known by the people that knew him would hamper him. mabey if St johnstone had not turned him away at 12 as being not good enough ( As they also did also with sturrock) then we might have beniffited as we eventually did with calum. It is not officially yet Calum has signed and if he does give him a chance Ps Ramyond,Ian Redford,Sergie were great pals and much to my horror years later found out so was Mark Hately?
  17. Thats was a real football match, center half nightmare conditions, Never seen Samy enjoy himself so mutch he was covered in mud after a couple of good old sliding tackels. Thought we should have won it at the end reynolds just lacked the composure to slide it home.
  18. Best go by Perth it has not stoped snowing around Stanley,Caputh since 8am this morning so the Dunkeld to cupar angus rd will be under 2 inches of snow
  19. He did not know what he was doing so XXXX knows what he appoligised for but he got his money and we got shafted again by piss poor ref
  20. No not for offside for a foul against peeso? The linesman knew he got it wrong and the abuse he got from Del, tony, the old guy along from me made him go beetroot red useless XXXX .
  21. Think he is playing on the car makes. However i think if you are thinking 11 arrests was something like the late seventys/eightys at Muirton No. there were Kids aged from 5 to 60 having a great time and the police/stewards decided to throw them out? I remember at Muirton the bottles/cans hitting the roof girders full of piss and the police that were there run out of the covered enclosure incase they got covered in it. No like the old days im afraid
  22. He was seen at McDairmaid through the week when the rest would be training he was overheard by the person who told me the story "what hospital is he in" only a overheard coversation mind during some cofrence up there last week. was surprised not to see him today so, On the day out started with a great atmosphere then ended with a damp squib due to the performance and the stewards/police spoiling some people having fun
