It was very very clever. I think the guy Bain who wrote it died in the late 1980s. The character died with him, unlike Oor Wullie and the Broons that were never the same after they stopped reprinting the Dudley D Watkins originals.

The pundits were all correct, the Rangers are mounting a challenge this season. Perfectly placed for an assault on getting top 6

That's shite. Nae need for the polis ( are you reading this Mr Policeman?? ) to do this.  back in the day, the polis had balls and  dealt with any disorder on site. That's what they were paid for. Now, the shitebags do everything they possible can to avoid any sort of  work other than lifting shoplifting mothers who are stealing nappies cause they are skint and  harassing motorists. That's why even people like me have little or no respect for them these days. All PC, diversity and  bollocks..  I could go on but it might mean an early morning wake-up call fae 15 of them, twa dugs and the helicopter..

You lot will need to get a bit wise on how to avoid letting  Mr Old Bill ken what yer plans are.

The flat five at the back was daft against small, mobile strikers who make lots of forward runs into the channels to pick up short dinked passes. First, you need some players in front to close down the dinked passes. Second, you need a shape with the full backs higher up the pitch pressing their midfield. Third, the central defenders should play a little deeper to snuff out the runs.
Most of the threat from Barca is through the middle, especially if you push your full backs up to shut down theirs. A fast, mobile central back three, maybe with one acting as "sweeper" in the middle is the way to play them.
Celtic squandered a lot of possession last night, we'd beat them if they played like that against us.
PS Can you imagine what Barca would do to Rangers, Celtic having put five past them?? Tee Hee.

I was one of the people who booed Swanson at the cup game. He wasn't fit, played poorly, and shouldn't have been on the park. I made a 12 hour round trip up from England to watch that game, I paid my money and I'm entitled to express my opinion. Conversely at the Stirling Albion game I was on my feet applauding some of the great work that Swanson did. If someone's shit they get pelters, if they're good they get cheered. Nothing two faced there. PS I also abused McFadden at that game, and it's one of the few occasions I have booed my own players. I guess having won the cup the previous year, the way we surrendered it to those shitbags just boiled my piss.

I live in Englandshire and it costs me nearly two ton to attend a game. Can't afford to attend more than a few times a year, like if its a big game or if I'm up on business etc. Not as far or as expensive as john up in Eskimoland but still makes me an exile.

This talk about selling the ground may encounter difficulty.

I recall that when HMRC tried to make this aberration extinct, the flyboy in charge together with the Cooncil argued in court that the ground couldnt be sold as there was some clause which meant that the land could only be used for football purposes or something along these lines.

As for ground sharing...they will be better trying Forfar or Montrose... or the way its going and they are not careful...Camperdown Park and changing facilities in Templeton Woods.

OK there are 268,435,456 possible outcomes from 28 cup draws.
To have 20 (or more) draws come out of the hat as home(s), there are 1,683,218 outcomes.
Putting that as a percentage, the likelihood of them getting 20 or more homes from 28 draws is 0.63%.
If you look at it from another angle, there are only 1,184,040 outcomes which give exactly 20 home draws, a probability of 0.44%.
The probability of getting 14 home draws, i.e. half as the statistics would suggest, is 14.94%.
So, over the last 28 draws, Sevco have had an outcome which is 33.88 times unlikelier than the most likely scenario.......
Assuming your figures are correct Smarmy this looks very suspicious.....

4-0 very pleasing result but it could have been 10. McLean missed three easy chances in the second half alone and don't get me started on Cummins. Midfield looked very strong, back four less so but I am not convinced by the McLean - Cummins combo, and I don't think Kane's the answer either. New striker definitely needed, one who is commanding in the air would be ideal.
