Not fair on County giving them a midweek game  but I suppose it's closest apart from maybe Aberdeen,.

Our first game against Hibs is massive. County will be looking to win at Livingstone after the result against Rangers. We will quickly find out if this group have the bottle to come through this. I have my doubts.

Very sorry to hear that. I would contact the club as well. Sadly the younger culture at the moment is to steal items from the opposition (drums, flags etc). I know of similarities happening to our own support over the years, Rugby Park included.  I hope the incident will not impact on your son following his team and enjoying the beautiful game. Hopefully see you back here next season.

Obviously football doesn’t work like this but Inverness scored 59 in 21/22.

We are quite reactionary on here (I include myself in this). Although likely having three away games is an advantage, I think we’ll end up in 11th. I still think we’d have enough in the play offs but it doesn’t mean I’d be confident, nor would I have faith in the mentality of this team to get us over the line. We won’t finish bottom though and that has to be seen as a positive from where we were.

You understand they wouldn't match that, dont you?
I'd wager that Sidibeh and Kimpioka could hit double figures each if youre saying these teams main striker (Zak Rudden, Brian Graham, Nikolay Todorov) are great strikers.

Thanks a lot for this offer, really kind of you, but honestly no need.
We absolutely understand that yesterday wasn’t representative of your support. And the messages we’ve received since posting have underlined this.
Sincerely hope your post split games are successful and we get the chance to do battle again next season.

You hit the nail on the head "Sadly football culture seems to attract idiots"

If you PM me your address or a paypal account i'd like to cover the cost or send  a new scarf for your laddie - many of us on this forum and 99.9% of those in the stands at home games are football folk, not the idiots who come and go .....

Rightfully so. And if the worst does happen then it's entirely self-inflicted.

Two very cheap goals. The worst moment for me in the first half (there were several incidents to be fair) was when Robinson and Gallacher doubled up on Armstrong and the Killie winger was easily able to swing in a perfect cross.  The lack of intensity in getting in the faces of the opposition was really sad. It seems a culture of defeatism across the team, something which was evident in the teams since 2021.  Not good enough all over the pitch. Sad, really sad. It's been rotten football for far too long.

A performance lacking in any redeeming quality. Dreadful.
Killie barely needed to get out of second gear to take the points very very comfortably.
Too many in that side lack quality and responsibility on the field. How many times did the defenders have the ball with no options available to them...so they play the ball between themselves and quite often struggle to do that.
The left hand side with Robinson and Gallagher was just awful. Says it all when around 80 mins in Gallagher got the ball...he was that anonymous I forgot he was actually on the park.
I hope CL doesn't blame the conditions for that performance.

This happens when Rangers come to the ground anyway, so what's the difference? It's an  extra game with Rangers fans at the stadium, which we could easily have had to put up with anyway if we'd drawn against them in the cup or finished in the top six.
I'd have thought it would be included in any agreement that Dundee have to cover the costs of any damage done to the ground by fans, so would it really matter? The key thing is Saints would be making money out of this.

Couldn't agree more with this. Aberdeen showed us the blueprint for beating Killie in the cup game a few weeks back and it's all about getting in their faces and not allowing them to play nice footbal which they can do.
Fran is a good shout for his direct approach.

The defence was ok on Saturday so I don't feel the need to bring Gordon back in. I wouId be tempted to let that same 11 go again....maybe Carey for Max. I read somewhere that Matty Kennedy was up there as their player of the year and Armstrong always looks good so our wingbacks need to be on their game. Should be a good game and I think 3 points almost gets us safe...assuming Ross County don't get anything against Rangers.

It was around this time last year we jettisoned Davidson and found ourselves away at Killie - a match we ultimitley won to confirm our top league status whilst Killie were left scrambling anxiously late on to avoid the play off game. How things have changed; Killie are on the brink of European football and we find ourselves desperatley trying to keep our head above water. In another quirk of fate the corresponding game in Perth earlier in the season we turned over a buoyant Kilmarnock with stand in manager Alex Cleland managing to bring the best out of our beleagured squad exposing the underlying problemes with the squad with the previous incumbent.
Kilmarnock are still playing some nice football and will be a tough side to over come but we go in to this game buoyed by our fine win in Edinburgh last weekend. Three points would be massive for our future aspirations in the Premeir league.
Killie have great wide players so I think this might come in to the thinking of the manager when choosing the starting line up. Gordon will start if he's fit and I have a feeling Carey might be in the line up too with Sid up front on his own with Clark in behind. I expect Clark to have a big bearing on this game.

If so, I hope we will be well clear of them by that time! The way it's looking at the moment we will be at home to County and Aberdeen and away to Livi. Of the others in bottom six (two out of three) we would at home to Hibs and away to Dundee and Motherwell. Hibs in bottom six would mean three home games and two away, otherwise it will be two home games and three away.

Given the quality of Sidibeh and Keltjens, and to a lesser extent Kimpioka, I have reasonable confidence that if we manage to stay up this season (which I think we will - 10th place), Levein has an eye for a player, and the contacts to ensure we can have a decent squad next season and be more like 7th/8th finishers. We have some high earners whose contracts will be finishing in the summer, and some older players who will be moving on.
Both Livi and Ross County are likely to lose their final game before the split (against Hearts and Rangers respectively). We have a really good opportunity at home against Killie to pull 7 points ahead, which would then make it very hard for Ross to catch up.

I think that is easy forgotten by those that are clearly not CL fans. We would of been dead and buried by now, had we not changed manager. As it stands, he is doing what he has been brought in to do. Get us out of the bottom two and stay in the top league. The transfer window has also seen us sign an absolute gem, that could well be the difference between us staying up or not.
I don't agree with all of the managers decisions, but we are certainly in a better place now and the previous window has been a success to me.
Great 3 points today. A draw next weekend as a minimum (on top of a County defeat) and we are in a strong position come the split.

I know there is a lot of negativity around but there is no one on here after 10 games that wouldn’t have taken pre the split to be a sh1tload of points ahead of 12th and 4 above 11th. Great result today.
