  1. All these changed Kick Off times really are confusing and it pays to check. i was speaking to an Arab season ticket holder at the weekend who turned up to a deserted Tannadice on Boxing day expecting a 3pm kick off!
  2. I am going, possibly by train from Montrose. 10:32 train, (East Coast London bound), change at Inverkeithing, in Cowdenbeath around 12:30 so plenty time for a pint or two.
  3. I live in Angus and would love to organise a bus and meet others for a pint!
  4. That's at least trwo of us - almost a Brechin Supporters Club!
  5. I grew up in Alyth in the 60's and it was the same then. I think pretty much me and one other guy. Loads of Scumdee fans then, I remember getting a hard time at school the day after we got beat 3-1 in the League Cup semi at Tannadice.
  6. Well yes, 3rd is most peoples preferred option including mine, however, that is now outside Saints control. To date, the board has done everything the fans have asked so if the SFL vote them into thethe first Saints get punished?
  7. There is, of course, a solution which will be a get out of jail free card for all SPL chairmen. The SFA have still to apply a punishment and I heard a rumour today that they are seriously considering a 1 year suspension. If this comes to pass then can they survive a year out of the game. Again, does any suspension affect the 'newco' or the liquidated company?
  8. Surprised no one has mentioned the fact that for every £20 charged £4 goes directly to HMRC in the form of VAT. Of course, that won't trouble Hearts.
  9. Thought Jody was excellent. Never gave a poor pass all night. Ando also did well and Chris Miller covered every inch of the park.
  10. Gotta love Cherrio, Cherrio, Cherrio as the fantisticly loyal Celtic support trouped out en masse 5 mins before the end!
  11. Only went because I got free tickets if i'm honest, but today was what being a sanitee is all about. Has to be Enks. If they score the non penalty they go on to win by three or four. No failures and a great team performance by everyone. Fraser Wright had two or three great tackles and Jody showed exactly what a class player he is. Great to see Peaso and Jim Weir in the Saints end as well!
  12. Can anyone clear up the chalked off goal and Finnigans booking. I assume he put it in with his hand? I didn't get a clear view from my seat.
  13. First booking was Dowie , who from the stand looked very much llike Hardie - same size and build and even he same haircut.
  14. Certainly haven't seen anything yet to get overly excited about, however, I have a few arab pals who were all disappointed when he left Tannadice. They all thought he was destined for great things. Maybe just not settled yet or would benefit for a lenghy run in his favoured position which seems to be central midfield - so little chance of him getting an extended run there!
  15. I can echo that. I lost an amazing 16 Kilos. Challenge is keeping it off. Must say the whole experience for me was very enjoyable and well worth my 100 mile round trip from Brechin every Thursday night. I also met some really great people as well! I recommend it to anyone.
