4-1, May scored his first goal near the end.
If Davidson and May return tomorrow I'll be more confident, but worried by their strike force.

If people stopped posting every time they got abuse then I'd never post here.
    And surely nobody wants that...

He signed a new deal in the Summer, beside Cammy Ballantyne and Jordan Northcott.
Not sure what the situation is with them, presumably have knocks if they're not in the matchday squad. Or the club are saving on testing costs by running smaller match day squads.

I'm not sure making injuries public, when you have about 15 players, is helpful.
All youd be doing is giving opposing managers your starting line up weeks in advance.

Clark conceded an almost identical one there a few seasons back, when we lost 5-1. Maybe even worse as it was a right footer swinging it towards him, and im sure he got a hand to it.

    Seems its been changed again.
If Aberdeen play Hamilton on Wednesday, then St Johnstone cannot just accept that in silence.
Hamilton and Celtic will be handed a huge advantage by being allowed to play a weakened Aberdeen side, while we were denied it. There is no logical reason to allow a game 4 days after you postponed one, when the virus can last for 2 weeks and isn't always detected via testing.

    Wotherspoon for me.
Only player with pass marks for the first half, creating chances and working hard despite the shoddy performances around him.
Second half was doing the work of two after MOHs sending off. Worked like **** defensively and was also still the biggest attacking threat.

    "Average player position"

can see the sey up, but also the issues it causes.
Big call for the manager whether he sticks with it try and get the players more comfortable, or if he makes it a back up formation.

Considering everything that happened, have to be happy with a point.
Hard to truly judge the new set up when its so early in the season, you give away an early penalty, and O'Halloran has an absolute shocker then gets sent off early.
Worrying that Davidson couldn't recognise the set up wasn't working, or that O'Halloran was clearly getting sent off. Might be more worrying if he did notice but just didn't change it though.
Neither lone striker had much to work with, but again, O'Halloran a major factor in that.
See how much Davidson has learned in the next game.

Yeah I noticed that, and they've not seemed to mention it on Twitter yet.
Hopefully its just some way of trying to prevent UK users abusing the system and you will get to view the game.

Someone might correct but as far as i know PPV is only available to UK users.
Saints should be showing it through their own channel to International subscribers.

Although I notice there's never been any mention of it from Saints yet.
  20. Thanks

Actually, @Johnny B it seems they have confirmed how you can watch it in the match preview

If you have an International subscription then just log in to Saints TV and you'll be able to watch it.

    Aye.
You aim to overload a flank then deliver a cross in for the striker to attack. One CM sits deep, and one gets involved in the attack.
Youd have one of McCart and Kerr pushing up, dependent on where the ball is, with the other staying back with Gordon and Craig.
Hendry would stay static in the box awaiting a cross, with May given a bit more freedom to move but generally expected to be in the box for any loose balls after the cross.
In theory, and its all just my take on what Millwall have done, your attacking "formation" when on the ball would look like this...

Gordon and Craig designated as "defensive" players. Craigs role is to take the ball off Gordon and move it, or deliver balls from deep.
McCann gets a box to box role.
Kerr and McCart are expected to help out the wide players.
One of Rooney or MOH is expected to cut in from a flank, with the other to get down the outside, Kerr will be allowed to join them if the situation allows it. On the left Tanser will be told to get down the wing, May to stay central in the box, and one of McCart or McCann will be expected to support Tanser.
As I say, that's just what I've seen from Sheffield United and Millwall in highlights, and the players there are the ones who fit the roles they use best. Could be different and I've just wasted everyone's time.

Yeah I'm really interested to see exactly how it all works out.
New manager, new system, new season. Combine that with the lack of games for 6 months and there's a real freshness about the club this season.
Quite enjoying not having a clue how it'll go.

19 senior players, then the likes of Ballantyne, Northcott and Robertson.
