  1. https://poscitech.com/motherwell-vs-st-johnstone/?sport=soccer There you go!
  2. Thank you! I'll pay them both a visit.
  3. My son will be getting married in Romania in August wants all the family to wear traditional highland dress. I would like to wear the St. Johnstone tartan to pay homage to the home town and team. Is it possible to get a St. Johnstone kilt to buy or to hire.
  4. Takes a manager of class to turn around the season we've had...……..In November we were for the drop but now looking at top six. People pissed off that he's not gunning for Europe....FFS one game at a time!!!!
  5. With McIness stagnating at Aberdeen and Coyle and Lomas nowhere to be seen. Question is ...How much compo did Saints get for these guys?
  6. This is sad and I hope that the guy gets the help that he needs. Please someone help this guy!
  7. As bad as it may seem, I'd be happy with a 0-0 draw and Aberdeen pummeling our defence but our guys standing resolute. Our defence has to be able to withstand a decent attacking force. Keep a bank sheet and the confidence will return.........We live in hope..!!
  8. It's a basic requirement to have a sound defence........We need to get off the mark quick in the January window and get 2 experienced defenders in and possibly a goalkeeper. Hope that it's not too late by then....
  9. You have every right to make your post. Your points are valid and point to long term problems within the club which have never been addressed.
  10. Not really wanting to drag fans away from Saints but they are making it hard to go to McDairmid every other week. Once you make the break and support a non league side, you get into it and the pull of the senior game dies away.
  11. If people believe that they get better entertainment for a much lower cost then they will go to the non leagues, irrespective of the standard of football.
  12. OK! Here's another............Steve! ...How much do you think it will cost the club to escape from the Championship League!...........Answer! He hasn't a clue...........Neither do we!............ How many years will we be in the 2nd tier?.......Erm no idea.....I really don't want to see Saints rattle down the leagues but it's happened before and it can happen again with bad management.
  13. Are you concerned with all the negative vibes coming from supporters?
  14. How much revenue do you expect to lose if we get relegated?
  15. Look..We're in the shit...Where do we start!!! Get the defence sorted...........Then the midfield problems...You always build a team from the back....IMO..of course!............What's the point of a striker who gets no service!!
  16. Have you lost interest in the wellbeing of this club and are you in negotiations with a potential buyer
  17. Got to wonder the cost of bringing in players versus the cost of going down. Dundee United are in their 4th season in the championship so it's not an easy league to get out of these days. It will cost Saints a lot of money getting relegated.
  18. Scott....I can't claim any credit for this article but I've just posted it here because I thought it would be of interest to those who have followed Stevie's career down south. I don't think the article is critical of Stevie. On the contrary it seems to point out that too much was expected in too short a time. The writer is suggesting that he could come good at Preston. Shame he got injured.
  19. Must have a bet with Corals that Barton will play again.
  20. First of all can I apologise if this post should be in the fitba chat but all things Stevie seem to end up here. http://the72.co.uk/36131/curious-case-stevie-may/#prettyPhoto
  21. I don't think that Tommy is being overlooked because Saints are regarded as an unfashionable club but more to the fact that he has not had an agent trawling the English Leagues trying to engineer a move for him. The last 3 managers, who were also quite a bit younger than Tommy is now, all went to the Championship for a massive boost to their salaries. How did that work out!! I also don't think that money is his greatest motivation. I would say that he has found his level and is happy working here and he does have a good rapport with the board. He gets a decent salary and if his family are content then why should he move?
  22. The establishment will prevail. There are too many people in high places who would be effected by the courts ruling against EBT's.
  23. I've no idea why they want to have an Armed Forces Day this year. Did they have one in 1919 or 1946. Seems to me a copy cat Sevco cynical marketing ploy. If Perth people want to honour the armed forces then there should be a day set aside in the calendar and a proper tribute to the work of the armed forces. Not just for football fans but for everyone. If Saints want to get involved then all well and good but not on a match day.
  24. No point of qualifing for Europe just to be an embarresment....................
