Sturrock would work well with a restricted budget as well as wheeler dealing as he has proven at Southend. after there financial turmoil look where has got them today. I suspect Both your Club and Plymouth are considering him more than you think. The potential new owner at Plymouth is said to have a lot of time for him and Luggy recently engaged in compliments with your chairman in a perthshire paper. As I said on another thread strange things happen in football. Would Luggy snub a crack at the SPL again?

And his house In Devon is up for sale. and only rents his house in Southend. If one or two others turn you down like cook has then Luggy could be the one to fall back on. A useful choice to groom a younger man for the job?

Hi again guys I hear you appear to have missed out on Paul Cook but hope the search continues well. Yes Iam from South east Essex and a passionate football follower but I've no real allegience to any team. Including Southend. But I can say Paul Sturrock has done a tremendous job at Blues after the Clubs turmoil in recent years . I feel maybe he would want a decent crack at the SPL after not really getting the chance last time round. apparently he was complimenting your club recently in a perthshire paper and your chairman repaid the compliment. Maybe he'll consider Luggy? Who knows? Strange things happen quickly in football.

Hope your all well and good. There has been a little small talk suggesting our manager Paul Sturrock might be a contender for your vacancy. Would you welcome him returning? What are the chances of this happening? I'd say a shot at the SPL beats managing in the lower 2 divisions in the FL.
