I sit in the West stand and was genuinely shocked when the whole stand started clapping in time with the hooligans in the left East (who are best fans by the way)- one of the best atmospheres I can remember. Legend.

I see a few of them on a Saturday and no Nazi's or junkies although one of them is waiting on the "happy event". Usually just hanging around waiting for the ones who didn't get banned coming out of the game (from a police approved distance of course).
I wasn't any angel during the 70's at Muirton and paid for it, but these "young team" ged's aren't anywhere near as bad as my lot or the lot either before or after but i can't remember any blanket ban being imposed.
I would let them back ( if they would come back? ).

How many of you realise there's an option to ignore users so you don't have to read their pish?

This thread is really getting on my nerves now.  I keep looking at it in some sort of vain hope the latest post has some relevance to Saints - eg he's coming back on loan or we're getting a windfall from a sell-on clause - alas no it's just someone slagging someone else off.

I don't live in Perth anymore but still very proud to call it home and bring the family I have in England up to show off the city. I take it you are not living in Perth anymore, so you should see that every small city or large town has the same problems.....mainly locals moaning about the council, yet when they do try and be proactive and initiate change, the same locals moan at that too because it's...errrrr.......well..............its change and they don't like change because it's threatening and scary.

As for the Xmas lights....I heard from family and friends it was great for the kids.....the future of Perth...maybe not to the taste of the blue rinse brigade, but it's about time the city did do more civic activities for families and the younger generation. That attitude is exactly why there is a brain drain in Perth with younger people and it's exactly why old moaners like to settle back in the city because generally -and I am stereotyping here- older people don't like change nor being taken out of their comfort zone.

Lastly, if you think south street is bad you have led a sheltered life. Canuck must be Heaven.

If you read the guys post he just said he returned to Perth after 25 years, where i'm pretty sure the Council was known as a District Council back in they days.  We all knew what he meant.

The amount of time people spend dishing out abuse to our players is appalling. As if someone constantly telling you you're shite is going to inspire better performance. Embarrassing.
A decent tussle between two mediocre teams (as most teams are in Scotland).
We have had an incredibly journey in the last few years but we have to take the rough with the smooth.

We boy Peter Ashton who the Hearts fans had a round off applause on the 14 minute has terminal cancer and has a few days to live puts todays game and all our moans into perspective, glad the wee mans team won for him.

Keep up the great work Chips this thread has bee a constant source off enjoyment for myself and I am sure countless others. To add a wee tour round  the villages surrounding our Fair City would be a treat as well, again thanks

Craig... hmmmm. . . ... . ... hope he finds some sort of form as he was pretty poor with Hibs. Left Saints as a good player, made a mistake move and vanished, welcome back, I hope he thanks his lucky stars he is back in top league! I'm not sure how this will work out?

I like seeing SWFCOWL's perspective, and I'd say his opinion of May is understandable. He might be special to us but he's just another player to them who's not done anything for them yet. We'd be the same if we signed a lower division player.
