  2. Dundalk were fined 18 thousand euros for fans flying the Palestine flag at their European match. Dnt know how saints got away with it? And I'm sure there would have been other clubs whose fans displayed the flag the same evening who have not been caught/punished. Celtic had free gazza signs and Palestine flags at McDairmid and display them at all matches. Hope they get investigated and fined.
  3. The player sent off for cheating should be suspended for the immediate game after the offence and in the next match between their club and the club they have cheated against. It is celtics next two opponents who gain any advantage by the suspension. St Johnstone suffered in the match when the offence took place and will suffer in the next match against Celtic as the player will be allowed to play and potentially commit the offence again.
  4. Makes it clear why Stevie did not play on Thursday. Had he played, and stayed for another week, we would have given ourselves a better chance of getting through this round. If we did get through the following tie would have been worth more than £1m. The board are short sighted. I would love Stevie to stay, but it looks asthough he is away. Atleast he will be guaranteed a Scotland cap within the next 12months. Something I don't think he would get if he stayed at Saints.
  5. Where do you put the discount code? Doesn't seem to be an option.
  6. I'll be up about 6. I'll probably head to the Tulloch and 208 to see if there busy. If their not, I'll head to the Muirton Suite. Probs see most of yous in the ground anyways.
  7. A bucket collection on Thursday would help cover costs and the extra would be good PR when given as a donation to the charity. Each supporters club could donate £X to sponsor a player/top. Tops could then be given to the charity at end of the season for the kids to use in the future. Saints could donate memorabilia which could be auctioned off to cover costs or be donated to charity. If the strips do not have a sponsor and don't look like getting one, it would be great PR for the club just to give the sponsorship to a local charity. If it is a few age groups, then the club could have a different charity for each.
  8. JCBT - there's only one John Pelosi!
  9. No matter if you are Auld team or Young team. There's only one football team. ST JOHNSTONE.
  10. Can't wait to hear 10 thousand saints singing "Shandy, Shandy" next week. Brilliant time. Thanks boys.
  11. You would think it would tell you how much the tickets are for the away leg.
  12. That's me paid. 1 less seat to sell.
  13. Hibs fans donate money to buy kids season tickets to allow the less fortunate in the community attend games. As saints allow under 12's free - it might be worth a think to purchase season tickets for the elderly or disabled, which can be monitored by a local charity and given too a different eligible person in the community each home game.
  14. Never once indicated that you did nor referred to you. It still annoys many fans the manner that he left and who he left for.
  15. I spoke with Billy Dodds in Norway, and he said that he enjoyed his time at saints and was not looking for a move. However when saints were offered to double there money in 6 months, they jumped at the deal. Therefore billy moved. Although many fans think he was a judas etc. IMO he made saints a lot of money and is another big name to have played for saints.
  16. I got told off by members on this forum for saying the same thing.
  17. Sorry, turkey and Norway. If you were there, you would know the difference in atmosphere between those games and yesterday. I am delighted and proud that we have won the Scottish. You will not find any one prouder. All I am saying is that it was disappointing at times that the atmosphere was not rocking.
  18. Your telling me, the atmosphere was bouncing? Top tier aye. Behind the goal bottom tier a little. Northstand and corner - none. The atmosphere at the both recent European away matches were better where there was only 500 or so fans. Tremendous numbers to take, but 2 thirds of them would not be able to name the manager never mind know the words to any songs.
  19. I was in the corner next to the north stand and tbh, could not here the trumpet nor fans very well. The music over the tannoy was too loud and drowned out the fans. IMO there should be no music played at that time. It should be the fans making the noise. Atmosphere was very virtually non existent in the pub before hand. Any other teams fans would be bouncing on the tables etc. Too many day trippers, and non saints fans there.
  20. I have a hunch that there will be plenty of Saints stickers plastered over Celtic Park and the surrounding area.
  21. Seeing as there are so many oldies returning for this game, will there be a rendition of Hail Hail the Saints are here. Still one of my favourites, but never seems to be sung at all anymore.
  22. I'm proud to say that I am in the wee snippit of saints fans in Turkey. If this is pulled off on the 17th. This could look wonderful. SJ, SJF, SJFC chant should be used by the saints support more often.
  23. Could have guessed that a boy fae DUNDEE doesnae have a decent pair ae shoes. And who buys a pair of trainers for a ten spot?
  24. Ibne Dundee, Ibne Dundee Ay Ayol! Ibne Bursa, Ibne Bursa, Ay Ayol!
