McLean was never the answer - he was a good part of the problem and should have been punted with rest of the staff along with Clum. Shows you the level of nous of the disinterested board giving him the job in the first place. Obvious the guy hasn't got a clue. If they punt him Monday and get someone who knows what they are doing we might have chance. Otherwise it's curtains. Feel sorry for those who paid to watch this today.

Sorry to cause offence, but like many I think it's ridiculous importing crappy old bands to events like this in Perth. There are surely enough local groups/celebs etc. Tommy Wright would have been a Braw choice, as long as he promised not to sing.

That's because he has got decent kit these days........ It is all digital now rather than the old analogue stuff I used to have to hold together with masking tape and chewing gum!!

I was talking to a couple of guys I know who used to go to games but haven't bothered recently and the one concerning thing for me was their belief that the club had no interest in them. Citing things such as family tickets and concessions whereas they are 40's and no kids interested in going to the game and were saying things along the line already on here that where is the incentive to go? They support Saints but get nothing back for it apart from the occasional exciting game. Their suggestions were also along the lines of a rewards card so like the coffee shops, pay for 5 games and get the 6th free, hospitality at a reasonable price and, this is something I agree with, a decent programme for the money you pay. How do other clubs produce programmes that you can read all week and all we get are 6-8 pages with hardly any editorial content. There was a time back in the day when I used to help out with the programme production and we made sure thee was plenty to read in it and you got value for money out of it.
 
To me Beve does a great job in her liaison role but nobody else appears to be doing anything sadly

I think Larky is being tongue-in-cheek. For what it’s worth, “Tinker” was a perfectly respectable and valued profession in the days when metal household items were repaired rather than replaced. Because they were itinerant, every big town had a place where tinkers stayed for a while as they moved about. I’m guessing “tinkers encampment” dates from then. It was only later that the term became a term of abuse.
It’s like the term “Tory”. It stems from a Scottish Gaelic word for bandit, and was applied to those of a particular political persuasion as a term of abuse. What became the Conservative party embraced and took ownership of the term (like “queer” in more modern times). Nowadays, of course, it has once again become a thoroughly deserved term of abuse.
That was probably very boring.

Quite agree Radford, it has become a very comfy situation from where I sit (not in the tannoy box fortunately so I can speak my mind now....) but be honest, on the sort of peanuts we pay all we are going to get are monkeys. Cuptie and Fraz are very happy at the Binos so don't see them making the trek back up the A9 either so it is likely to be Clelland doing a double job as that is all the club will pay for. The belt is getting tightened so much now that the amount of money in the bank is becoming embarrassing and all we seem to sign are the left-overs nobody else wants. I would love to be proved wrong but can't see it happening under the current regime

Tannoyman retired last season after years of wind-up music and banter and appearances on the pitch most games, even got threatened by the Sevco fans for playing U2's 'With Or Without You' at their last game in the SPL
