  1. Andy Brannigan without a doubt. Never quite sublime but often ridiculous.
  2. Luke McCormack, goalkeeper, now on books of Plymouth Argyll
  3. Just read the interview and it has set me up for the working week ahead. We are so lucky to have such a strong person as our manager. Long may he reign with another cup victory!!
  4. just received my copy today and what a fantastic read. Sleepless, I take my hat off to you. A magnificent effort in starting, asking, collating and publishing this masterpiece.
  5. Just received mine this morning. Will be watching on return from work tonight. Many thanks.
  6. £10/£20 ready and waiting from sunny Swindon. Small price to pay for not being able to support the club financially throughout the year, apart from the lottery that is!
  7. Could have been me, a bit old and tattered looking and seen action over the years. Also could just be the scarf.......it has been to both League Cup Finals before....along with me!!
  8. started going to Muirton Park in the late 50's and went every week through the 60's till I joined the RAF in 1970. Every week got my shilling, then two bob bit and eventually a good old half-crown. Got you in, programme and a drink at half time as inflation took it's ever ascending climb, but I had to work for each penny, either doing the shopping in town on a Saturday morning or cleaning the house (prefab in Hillyland) before leaving for the walk to the ground. My mum was always proud of my Support for Saints and would have been looking down on all of us on Saturday and enjoying every moment with all of us. God Bless!!
  9. Although we were MAGIC and the victory was MAGIC, unfortunately the Magic Roundabout is here in Swindon just outside the County Ground!
  10. I was there, I cried at the final whistle. We won!!! Nuff said? Still keep watching replays of the game. Adrenalin still coursing through my veins!
  11. Actually live in Calne but have family members and friends who live in Lambourn. The world gets smaller not bigger after last weekend!
  12. I feel exactly the same just a few miles along the M4. the sheer pleasure in making them eat their words will be almost as good as Saturday at 4.55. Elation still rampant in my bloodstream!
  13. I have just looked out my old Saints scarf, which has followed me around during my service in the RAF and been down here in England for the past 22 years also. The scarf is obviously nearing 50 years old but still in good condition. It has seen the two League Cup Finals in 69 and 98 and many games before and after those dates. It has been gently washed and ironed and is ready for the big day....just like me. What items will you be wearing that have memories of Muirton and Saints in general. Hoping my scarf will be Third Time Lucky.
