Yep.I remember Gordon Smith having a great game and totally outclassing some guy called Kenny Dalglish.
-
I vaguely remember seeing him working on the railways in the late 70s. May be wrong though ?
-
Sorry to hear this. I remember him as a great keeper for us following on from Donaldson.

Great interview. A truly impressive human being. The quote from Macca is brill !

Just a thought. Ryan Dow was Utds best player in the cup final. He struggles to make their first team and he looks pretty skillful to me. However not sure if he is the sort of player we need?

Love high energy football. Hamilton outplayed us 2 weeks ago because they were full of running. We outplayed Aberdeen because we were in their face and played at a real tempo. great to watch !

Good post.Sums up my feelings about Muzz. He was my favourite player 2 seasons ago. Hopefully in the not to distant future he'll get a run in the team and recapture his old form.

Graham or Maclean up front ? if he's feeling fit Maclean would be my choice although I wouldn't be surprised if he was rested. -

Great post PauloPerth. No danger of Saints thinking that "they did the hard part last week." -
Yes but I reckon they could go on "creaking" for a while yet. Certainly hope so.

"Did the hard work last week"? Usually don't mind your posts Smarmy but this shows the type of arrogance I would only expect from an old firm fan. The truth is we showed far more determination and desire than you lot. -

No Mcnamara in the post match interview. Me thinks Tommy and Saints have got under his skin. Can't think why. -

No brainer . Millar by miles. Teamwise what impressed me most was our never say die attitude. -
Who Do You Want In The Next Round Of The Cup?

Spartans away. Failing that a home tie against a lower league side. -
Good post match interview. Obviously enjoying being here and very positive about Tommy and the staff. Good stuff !
-
Yes they are paying the living wage to full time staff but not those employed on match day. I would be surprised if we pay all employees the minimum wage but would be all for it !

Great performance and what a goal. Not close to last May but still fantastic!!!!!!!

There is something of George Osborne about SB. Austerity seems to be the route chosen. -

Muzz for showing real determination to get to the ball and put the ball in the net with his hand. Yes the overall performance was that bad ! -
Article does not state income tax rate . Higher than here I think but I am sure the difference isn't as big as some people would have you believe. main point as far as salaries are concerned is that there is a far smaller difference between top earners and lower earners and that everyone earns a salary compatible with a dignified standard of living.

Good article here written by Iain Macwhirter, For those worried about the cost of bevvy In Norway paragraph 3 addresses the issue, However paragraph 4 sums Norway up. Very low unemployment, poverty too low to measure and a country which regularly registers top of the pops for quality of life. I reckon if you lived in Norway you would love it HOODLUM65 ! So rich you could afford the beer or maybe so happy you would drink less http://www.heraldscotland.com/comment/columnists/face-reality-we-could-be-as-prosperous-as-norway.19483723

spot on. Our position in the North Atlantic makes it inconceivable that we wouldn't be welcome in NATO. For all the military folk that post on this website how many Naval vessels patrol Scottish waters? Someone with a better memory than me could fill in the details of a recent incident when the Royal Navy had zero vessels in Scottish waters to react to an incident. Clearly this would not be the case with our own independent navy tailored to our specific needs.

As members of the EU at the moment we must currently meet the necessary requirements for membership.
-
Scotland at the moment is in the EU and would continue to be a member after the18th and a Yes vote. From within we would have 18 Months to negotiate necessary change . Commonsense tells me that agreements will be reached and come the day of Independence we will remain as members.
-
Scotland would have it's own Independent parliament and would work within the EU alongside most other West European countries. Hardly a swap.
