Where are the goals coming from?
To me that’s the million pound question 

Most engrossing 0-0 I've seen in a long time. Incredibly well disciplined and organised performance. Seriously, hats off to Macca for drilling that into a team of guys who have barely played together, and in some cases barely played at all at senior level. It feels like there's been a lot of pressure on him and a lot of things going against him but he's stayed calm and worked hard and we've got a fantastic result out of it.
He'll rightly feel vindicated in the changes he's made and I'm very happy to say I was wrong in expecting a hammering when I saw that starting line-up. Absolutely huge now that we build on this and start picking up results and scoring goals against the teams we're more closely matched to, starting with Dundee next week.

I think this could be an issue now, unfortunately. Players coming in over pre-season could conceivably be sold the idea of a brand new project and an exciting fresh start for the club. Fast-forward a few weeks and we're now having to sell them a club that has been dumped out of one cup already and is sitting at the bottom of the league with no points and no goals. Attracting players here was hard enough in the first place but this start to the season can't exactly be making it easier.

Clean sheet after first 45 minutes. 
That's surely a bonus! 

I wonder if the manager will return to a back three for this.
I know we've all had enough of that for the past few years but Brown's a doubt at right back, Dare's probably not match fit so converting to a three might be the best option with what we have available.
Plus, it might suit Gordon to go back to his preferred middle position in the three with McClelland and Considine either side.
Wright and Gallagher are used to playing the wing back role and we could get another body into centre midfield where we've been weak and easily dominated so far this season.

It shores up the defence and midfield a bit which is much needed.
The signings have been positive so far and I believe we will get better as time goes on, but we'll need to be patient for a while.
If we can grind it out and pick up points here and there for the first half of the season, then I'm confident we can get some momentum going after the winter break.
I hope the fans show patience with both the team and the new players as well.
Getting on their backs won't help.
I feel it's time for us to be the twelfth man and keep the squad positive.
And no better time to do this than starting against Hearts and their no doubt noisy following.

Seriously?!?!?? Miles off Macca’s expectations if you ask me. This is the season that he will be eased into the squad with a view to him coming a more prominent player next season.

Unfair, I think 
He certainly needs to learn whats expected of him in the top flight.
Has been thrown in to sides lately packed with youth and underperforming seniors, and hasn't looked the worse player on show.
If the squad doesn't dramatically improve, can't really write him off at this young ageif he doesn't shine in a sea of turds.
 

Players will be singled out for praise continuously on this forum and other social media. Credit where credit is due. It is only fair and reasonable to make comment if fans are of the opinion that potentially players are not good enough for the club. In speaking to fans and reading different threads it is clear our centre halves are not of the calibre needed to perform in this league. Macca knows that and we know that, to ignore commenting on that serves nobody well, but especially the club 
I do not feel comfortable with your interpretation of our club as being a "diddy team". Our aspirations back in the 1980s have got us to where we are today. Let's have more ambition and balanced views. 👍

Was my first thought too, although I’m always a bit iffy about new signings becoming the captain - no idea why. 

How about 'Mitov' might be worth a throw once he gets settled in. Looked very confident and commanding, in his area and not afraid to be shouting instructions to players, even after such a short time at the club. 

Or you try to build the confidence of the players who were chucked under a bus by our previous manager by playing in ridiculous positions which did not suit their skillset. 
Is Carey fantastic, no but when played in his more natural position during the last few games, he looked immediately better

Well that game certainly feels like the end of an era, Murray fairwell and probably the broons.... enter a new era of magic macca and his motley band of pirates .... and possibly new ownership in support.
Have to love how we fought to stay up this season, worked hard as a team, something special about our club and Im cautiously excited for the future.
 

Thanks to Remi for his time at the club. Seems like a nice guy and got involved in a lot of things at the club.
A decent keeper who did a job for the club. Wish him well in his return down south and hope he makes it in the higher tier of English football.
