  1. I agree it has been a breath of fresh air and of course the exciting thing is we have an abundance of crocked players awaiting return. We played well yesterday without ....... Hardie James McBreen McCaffrey Weatherston Mooner Quinn ....gone Deuchar..scoring for fun elsewhere at a lower team
  2. McInnes interview http://www.stv.tv/content/sport/exclusive/display.html?id=opencms:/sport/exclusive/Derek_McInnes_interview_271107 GB Interview http://www.stv.tv/content/sport/exclusive/display.html?id=opencms:/sport/exclusive/Geoff_Brown_interview_271107
  3. Have to disagree, whoever comes in as Manager will need to be paid similar to Coyle or more. Remember Coyle was virtually untried when he came in. Furthermore, if it was McInnes, then we would need to find someone to take his position. No option is a cheap option................
  4. Ticket allocation announced ..........the Club is likely to receive around 4,200 tickets for the Challenge Cup Final against Dunfermline Athletic at Dens Park on Sunday 25th November and Season Ticket holders (1,700) will be given the first opportunity to purchase tickets (two per person) when these become available. To accommodate the other regular supporter at McDiarmid Park, a voucher will be issued to the first 800 cash paying supporters attending Saturday’s home game against Queen of the South. When a ticket sale is announced, Season Ticket holders and voucher holders will be given the first opportunity to purchase tickets and any tickets remaining will go on general sale thereafter................
  5. ....................whose mother owned the Craigie post office on St Leonards Bank (which is still there and hasn't changed much). The said establishment used to be the staging post for Craigie Schools finest who on occasion may purloin the odd bar of chocolate without payment. Naughty children...............
  6. ...........while not an expert on HaSaW act I am responsible for it, although I would draw a line at Policing. I was reliably informed that the back up systems were all operable tonight...........
  7. Further to my previous slightly sarcastic approach to the stadium lighting and the fiasco created by Perth Police and also on a more serious note............. The stadium lighting in McDiarmid is compliant and the ground has a safety certificate from P&KC. The Match Commander would not allow the stadium to go ahead as in his view 'there was inadequate lighting' he would also not, after repeated requests by the club allow any fans to be moved to the East stand as in his view 'there was inadequate lighting' he was not going to be budged. The McDairmid maintenance team did everything they could right up to proposed kick off time to persuade him to no avail. The communication could have been better however, as we all know in circumstances during what could only be described as a Fiasco by the Police, communication can be lost. The stadium PA system, (which has also just been upgraded), at our ground and any other ground for that matter can only be heard inside. Can you imagine if our name had come out of the hat second at the draw, we would have played at Brechin. I have better lighting in my shed than Brechin have. Our stadium is far more advanced than those of our so called peers. Furthermore I do know for a fact that not only does McDiarmid park have the normal stadium lighting but also has battery powered back up and if that fails an auto kick-in diesel generator. The place was entirely safe.
  8. I'm never going back to the cinema again, the lighting is shi*e. All these people, how do I know i wont be trampled to death..............
  9. Listening to some music and chillin' after a heavy day yesterday and came across Mahalia Jackson singing "when the Saints go marching........" Does any body know how many other singers, bands etc have recorded "our song" You can tell I'm bored out ma t**'s..........
  10. ..........had a quick look at some of his short history and he appears to be quite handy. Certainly defense, after the QOS mess, could do with some quality support...........
  11. ...superb analagy, quality argument for keeping them open
  12. ........would that be the lesser spotted "***" or the common manky "***".........?
  13. I am afraid it is SS, it is a term used in my 'hood' in Muskegon. For those of you unaware of this rare term in Perthshire, it is oft' used by us gangsta's to describe an unwashed individual. This individual, may be down on their luck, manky, drawing dole, pregnant at 14 or just simply unloved. They can also have crumbling sports stadia and the remnants of Greyhound shit on the field of play. They also regularly draw government benefits. I hope this clears things up for you....... Love n Kisses Betty
  14. Would the coagies, or any one else in our league for that matter, be able to constantly upgrade their stadium and at the same time compete? http://www.stjohnstonefc.co.uk/newsitem.asp?NewsID=2170
  15. A pregnant young burd from Dundee Found her waters had broke around three The nurse who was minging Asked from where she was ringing She replied from the fanny to the knee
  16. ................. I think this sums up yesterday spot on. We were absolutely gash in defence with McManus stuggling badly, Dobbie ran rings round us. Have to give huge credit to Weatherston who played a blinder, his runs at defence from the side were great to watch. I think there were some positives and certainly the fightback near the end of the match is something we have not had for a couple of seasons. I am still quietly confident, bring on the "coags".............
  17. I am reliably informed that season ticket sales are 14% up on the same period last year. There are still sales ongoing.
  18. .........if he is not the average age will drop to 12.4 years..........
  19. ...........quite the contrary, it is reported that Hibs have offered £1500 per week plus add-ons, more than double the maximum Saints top salaries. I believe he was on £1000 plus add-ons at Millwall............

  21. HULL CITY, the only team in England (maybe Scotland too) that you can't fill in any of the letters in their name.
  22. Please keep my wee (sorry big) Jake out of this childish spat. .........i must back SS, there were a number of rogue groupies hanging around (begging drink) while SS and quality friends were enjoying a social libation. These "so called" fans, who were more interested in west end musicals than football must have plied him with drink and forced his password out of him, these rogues from North Perth were a blight on our international tour. Good crack though............ Keep the Board Luv 'n' Kisses Betty
