  1. Right, no doubt I'm wrong as usual but AFAIK Lawson can't extend the loan as he is over 21.
  2. Quite a few options but as seems to be my vote every week now, has to be the Wizard for me.
  3. There was a topic (which has since been deleted) asking for more views but it received no replies. The rule has been watered down and as such a player simply has to receive two votes to be eligible for a point or three.

  10. Likewise. If him and Wright had stayed fit in 1993/94, that could've made a huge difference.
  11. Super Ro, aka The Gaffa, lacking respect and professionalism! Wash your mouth out! Don't you know everything Gretna have achieved is simply down to Super Ro, aka The Gaffa. Possibly the most horrible cretin in Scottish football.
  12. I thought the booing was for Owen taking Mensing off as he's one of our best players? I folk were booing Simon then that's a disgrace, he made an error... big deal, he's been brilliant this season. Main is a legend, I'll applaud him every time he comes to Perth and every time we play a team he's in. Folk have already made up their mind on Andy Lawrie. Unfortunately for him, I think he'll always have fans on his case. I thought he did fine today though, put in some excellent crosses.
  13. Around 3,000 Saints fans there today which is excellent. Hopefully they'll be back next week for Queens and will bring a friend!
  14. Game took a wee while to get going but when it did, it was Saints in the ascendency and we really should have been ahead at the break. We missed quite a few headers from crosses so it was always going to be the way that Gretna took the lead through a cross into the box, McGuffie with a near enough free header from about six yards. For once, Saints didn't give up though and back at them we went and deservedly drew level when Stanic played a fantastic ball off the outside of his foot to Jason, who cut inside and fed Sheerin to score. We then took the lead when Stanic skinned Grady and sent over a deep cross which Hardie buried. We were always looking the better side but Gretna scored an unstoppable equaliser when their young sub was given too much space by Goran and their number 6 blasted into the top corner. They then took the lead when Simon deliberately handled a cross. I think Deuchar would've scored if he hadn't and he probably should have been sent off. McGuffie sent Bryn the wrong way from the spot. Saints didn't give up though and after Sheerin played in McLaren, Savo side footed against the bar before in the final seconds, Sheerin touched a free-kick to Jason and with the ball heading for the fruit anf veg isle at Tesco, the ball took a deflection and eluded Alan Main, who remains a legend! Really pleased with the way we played today, if not the result.
  15. I was hoping Livi would win. We always lose games when we have a chance to go top.
  16. But Coyle also says Neil McCallum, complete with broken foot, was away with Northern Ireland U19s! Sounds like he's happy enough with the workout though and good to see Dobbie still involved.
  17. No idea. Have since seen it mentioned in Eveing Telegraph but no word of score... so assume we lost!
  18. Airdrie was today! Usual suspects played.
  19. Any idea who against and where? We needed this break, we've played an incredible amount of games in just two months. 14 games.
  20. A draw with Gretna and we'd be on course for 68 points, and 66 wasn't enough last season. Don't want to make too much of it but we've also had Livi, Dundee and Thistle (false position?) away with only Gretna of the top five at home. Depending on your school of thought, if you are someone that doesn't look at it one game at a time, we should be looking at 20 points per quarter IMO.
  21. There is no way we should be sitting with 8 wins from 8 games when we've only played well on two or three occasions. Clyde more than matched us on the first day and Livi had much better chances than us last week, albeit didn't force Bryn to make a save.
