I don’t care if we stay up in 10th position or stay up via the play off as long as we stay up. The financial implications with new ownership would be a hard sell to the new potential owners. With the clean out to happen at the end of the season do we have the money to bring in potentially 5 or 6 new players?

The frustrating or disappointing thing is we put up a good performance and get the 3 points like against Hibs and we then follow it up with pish and we look like a team again who are relegation bound. These false dawns are enough to keep CL picking players out of position and out of form as he thinks his system and tactics are working.

I agree he ticked the boxes that we needed at the time, will he keep us up, I honestly don’t know, but we are a team that can’t score and clean sheets are something we can’t seem to keep either at present.

Not long now till the split. What does everyone think as far as how many points will we need to avoid the play off and stay up? Those three points yesterday RC picked up were massive for them. Our next game against Dundee is now a massive game for us, RC have rangers still before the split but right now I think we are heading back to the playoffs route again unfortunately. I think 34/35 points will be enough but I wonder if CL is looking at parking the bus and trying to stay up via picking up points from draws. I presume in the relegation group teams will be taking points of each other each week, it’s definitely squeaky bum time. COYS

I just hope CL goes for the throat of Livi on Saturday, 3 points there and I think we are almost safe as they will be needing to get results and I also think Aberdeen are going to be drawn right into this mix of relegation play off. I hope that performance against the Midden was a season defining moment for the staff and players and a few home truths about their game and coaching performance has potentially breathed some life back into them all. I just hope CL doesn’t have us park the bus and play for a 0-0, we really need 3 points in this game, every game feels like it’s a cup semi final right now, with something to play for which is them keeping their pay packet as I’m sure a drop to the championship will see many of them without a club moving forward.
