A club statement read: “Saints can announce that Ian Flaherty will be leaving the business with immediate effect. We would like to thank Ian for everything he has done and wish him well in his future endeavours. “The club have also decided to bring all media operations fully in-house. “Gregor Sleith will take over as head of media and communications, with Greg Taylor taking on the role of media and communications. “Paul Smith will provide support to both as and when required.”
  2. It would be interesting too see what their budget is for new players if they do come up. They would be favourites to drop back down, so I’d rather it be them then RC

Make it look like it’s amateur hour and the wee club with no staff
  4. Let’s get a statue outside McDiarmid Park of the Spoony chop, the local boy who became a Saintees legend and played at a World Cup and one of the most decorated medal winners outside of Celtic players in the last 10 years or so
  5. It’s buy one get one free deal, they get Crawford too
  6. THE Football Club can announce we will not be offering new contracts to Michael O'Halloran, Eetu Vertainen, David Wotherspoon, Jamie Murphy, Charlie Gilmour, Bobby Dailly, Spencer Moreland and William Sandford. Murray Davidson has confirmed his decision to retire from football. Remi Matthews, Alex Mitchell, Adam Montgomery, Zak Rudden and Connor McLennan have all returned to their parent clubs after being on loan at Saints. Theo Bair has been made available for transfer. Steven MacLean said: "I've had conversations with all of the lads who were out of contract and one or two of the decisions were hard ones to break to the players involved. "Jamie is a model professional and gave his all for Saints in his year here. Michael has been part of the Cup successes. I wish them both well. "David is a St Johnstone legend and I have total respect for him as a professional footballer and as a person. "He's played a huge role in all of our successes in the past decade. "I've had a chat with him to explain the reasons behind my decision. I feel I have made the right choice for the Football Club as we move forward. "I'd like to wish David the very best in whatever comes next for him in his career." Club CEO, Stan Harris, added: "David has made a significant contribution to St Johnstone over a decade and fully deserves his status as a club legend. "On and off the park, he has served us wonderfully well. "He goes with the best wishes of myself and everyone else on the Board. "Also, on behalf of the Board, we wish Murray Davidson the very best as he retires from football. "Murray has been at Saints for 14 years and his overall contribution has been outstanding." David Wotherspoon will be given a Testimonial year by the club and details will be announced in due course.
  7. Can’t believe he won’t be offered a new one year deal. He will be getting a testimonial year by the club. My happy vibe over the last fortnight is now shattered
  8. Cole Stockton from Morecambe is part of their big release clear out due to being relegated to the English League 2, I’d love to see him with us up front next season. Over 45 goals in his last three seasons
  9. I know around the same time as big Al but Leigh Jenkinson from Coventry and John Paul from Celtic we’re they loans or full transfers?
  10. Mark Robertson, gee I wish there is a father/son rule where we get first crack at them as his young son just signed a good money contract at Man City
  11. Is there another supporters meeting due where items like catering can be mentioned?
  12. Congrats to our winner well played Sir Big thanks as always to Sir Steve M for running this and giving up his time for our benefit
  13. Great boost for Sinclair to keep his first clean sheet in the top flight
  14. What odds both teams have clocked off and we see a boring 0-0 lets hope Muzz gets a cameo do the crowd can say thank you Ando, Muzz it’s bloody sad knowing we won’t see them again graving our colours
  15. Didn’t Harris walk away previously due to a medical condition? Hopefully he is good now?
  16. So if that box is ticked, next up should be the pitch maintenance there is no play off excuse now either
  17. From Main to Clark and Matthews we have been blessed to have sone hood ones between the sticks
  18. I heard he said Steve Brown has his number, if it was me I’d be ringing Steve for a chat.
  19. No Bair on the bench is he on the way out at the end even though he is contracted?
  20. I’d love to see McGreggor in and mentor Sinclair but could we really afford him, I’m sure he would be chasing one last payday
  21. I’d go with Sinclair Brown Gordon Considine Gallacher Wright McPherson McGowan Cammy Spoony Kane I would try and be as aggressive as we can pushing forward and pressing at every chance, I know the team won’t be like and I’m sure if I was ever asked for tactical advice my team formation will ensure it’s one and done haha, but I reckon RC are going to try and put men forward so there will be plenty of chances hopefully to grab them on the counter and we don’t need to sit back and invite them to attack. These last two games feel like a free hit for us, something you don’t get too often
  22. Ok thought I would do one of these for the midweek game. Now we are safe do we experiment and bring Sinclair in for the last two games? Do RC throw everything at us to try and avoid the playoff route to premiership survival?
