    Zander

I have said I saw a deterioration of Zander in the past two years, whether due to coaching, lack of competition or simply confidence. Stats have been supplied which would back this up. I also feel he has improved in the last three or four games, and that it was unfair to castigate him for the 1st utd goal. This is, to me, blindly assuming that because he has performed below the levels he has previously attained, that its OK to blame him for that one as well. Others were more responsible in the build up. Would I like to see a better keeper? Of course. Do I think some one is likely to be brought in in the next six months? Next to no chance of that. we are "stuck" with him, so is it useful to try to find fault in everything he is involved in? He is not above criticism, but save it for when he has thrown in the inevitable howler.

    Zander

Or a tiring Melamed’s put in a powdwrpuff shot. If he wellies it, its in. Your right tho, from what ive seen, siegriest? Is a better keeper. Its also true zander hasnt had the best season behind an adapting inexperienced defensive unit. Still dont think zander is the most at blame for that goal, and dont see the need for the burning at the stake. If a keeper was available, who (with our modest resources and three keepers on the books) who would you like to see us sign thats a guaranteed upgrade on what we have?

    Zander

Not sure why you are determined to crucify zander for the 1st goal. Starts with an out of position CM filling in at right back, and getting beaten. Ball goes across and comes back into middle whilst liam decides which man to cover. He goes with the runner, but is too slow, runner knocks it (unmarked) into goal scorer (in fairness my memory was the two markers closing him down, review shows they were moving away from him) lapere has the whole goal at his mercy, a lovely feed right where he wants it, and no one closing him down. If he hadnt scored from that position, he is in the wrong game... Zander gambles and goes his left. Was he to wait till the shot had been struck before diving? He would have been castigated for being too slow. A shot from an unmarked player from six yards is not the fault of the keeper if it goes in, he can only be a hero by keeping it out. Thats your binary take on that goal? Suoer save or culpable buffon?

    Zander

Im thinking thats unfair. He has previously been a very good keeper for us, but in the last couple of years, for what ever reason (coaching? Lack of competition?) he has been distinctly average. Last couple of games he has looked like the Zander of old, but tonight i cant fault him for either goal. 1st point blank shot thru a couple of bodies, 2nd a wonder goal that 9 outta 10 is over the roof of the stand.
  5. Thats a re-active line up. Feels to me like "lets try this and see if it works" Plan A has failed to achieve much, and im not seeing much evidence of plan B
  6. Can we give melamed a chance before writing him off? Hendry needs a loan to find his form Other two can slip away.
  7. Im loathe to give either of the ugly sisters my money, but isnt there an official ppv stream for this? Havent gone looking yet, because i dont want my newsfeed filled with tales of Glasgow's shame.
  8. Tanser doing an ok job for us, but wouldnt improve many teams in our league, and certainly not either of OF.
  9. Good lord. This is unwatchable Camera man having a mare.
  10. I just realised there is commentary... Had to turn volume to 100 Yes, my mistake, rooney in the back three, moh pushing up the right, not had to defend anything yet.
  11. Wait a minute.... theres conway.... Muzz on his own in the middle?
  12. A fluid 5 3 2 Ohalloran attacking up right, may and guy in the middle. Back three with rooney and booth drifting forward. Muzz n craig anchoring midfield Wind with saints, 5 forward balls gone too long
  13. Three big errors, hasnt settled into the game. Potentially playing for a contract, has shown nothing in this game so far to suggest to me we will miss him if he leaves. Hendry playing with the same level of desperation, but his mistakes wont cost us goals.
  14. I googled "hamilton ppv" , paid my money, and now im watching a musical about the formation of the Usa. When does the footy start...?
  15. Have paid for 3 games this season (1st time direct to saints ppv), and that was the best product. Picture available and clear 100% of the game with no buffering, and sound was crisp and consistent. Only logged in 5 mins to kick off, so cant comment on pre match feed.
  16. Agreed You can only beat whats in front of you. This wasnt the strongest 11 either. A few missed chances, but played 90 mins at a decent tempo and kept intensity up.
  17. Haha... i watched the game, and thought he had put on the beef...
  18. It very almost worked. Missing an out and out striker/goalscorer (he said, stating the bleeding obvious) We effectively played with a seven man midfield and no one up top If we had held on, it might have been the catalyst for a change in fortunes. Table doesnt lie unfortunately, but no way are we the worse side in the top flight.
  19. Id rather have spoonys intelligence, tracking and passing.
