It’s exactly the same as the East but with more legroom and a better view! The east is hardly a Mecca for atmosphere. 
 

Season Ticket holder and will go to game, I would understand if they moved the Saints support to just one stand and it wouldn't stop me attending.
Ticket price and it being on TV might make me think though, if myself and teenage son are over £40 to get in and we can watch it at home I may struggle to justify on a midweek eve.
One thing that slightly annoys me over last couple of years is Saints make no reference to Cup top up holders, having had one on both our season tickets since they were introduced it hasn't exactly been a good buy for the fans, last year we got nowt for our money.
I know there a risk attached when buying the top up but a token, Cup top up holders get Celtic game half price, or a discount, even seeing them acknowledge the fact.
  
 

Likewise, I saw no police aiding in the movement of traffic. I did see a police van parked in the entrance to Newton of Huntingtower, sticking out onto the pavement and forcing pedestrians onto the main road to get round it. One officer was slumped in the back having a good rest, his female colleague busy typing away on her phone. It really is money for nothing for Police Scotland.

Well, it was raining. From my seat in the middle of the east stand I watched one brave and hardy police officer get out the van and have a word to someone who had already just climbed the blue gate - having watched him from the comfort of the van - then wander back to the warm, dry van as others ignored him and began to climb the gate. I thought to nominate him for an award for his enthusiasm and services to public safety.

Doubt there will be any to show tbh.. 

This was no pre-season friendly and I don’t think you can expect or accept the fact it appeared that way.Saints should have had more than enough to take care of East Fife in normal time wheather  it was the first or last competitive game of the season.
Watt should have had the first 45 minutes not the second.I feel had he been on in the opening spell when we were on top his direct strong running coupled with Wright’s good play we could have had something to show for our efforts.
McMillan did very little,Scougall even less,I don’t get Scougall,loads of hype on his arrival about his mazy runs, trickery; finding a pass and the likes but I have yet to be convinced.
Folk claim little threat down the left well thank God for Tanser’s willingness to make runs if not for him there would be none.Liam (one foot) Craig for me is now someone who should start games from the bench,there’s no doubting his commitment but he has to engineer the ball onto his left peg then spray an inaccurate pass to nobody.Spoony,brilliant or poor,no guesses which today he’s got get consistency  built in there.
East Fife undoubtedly had a plan and it struck me they were being more street wise and had they scored from that fist half header(was it a save or the wood work that stopped it)then I think we would have struggled to have gotten anything from the remainder of the game.
On the plus’s side the new kit didn’t look that bad in the flesh and at a distance.

just a suggestion , think its been done in the past regarding crowd - 250 and 500 for old firm matches?

The kit man actually  took the ball but my man was on the touchline under strict instructions to nab it as soon as he could..  he never let me down...

I have tha ball, signed by midge and firmly in my possession. Also signed programmes.   The captains armband is also secured but it needs to go out to be embroidered with some extra bits and pieces..
