We're currently in Ireland after watching the game last night. Not much to write home about really. The first half was pretty poor but James scored a header from a corner. Coleraine drew it back to 1-1 after the striker was sent clean through and chipped Alan Main, defence to blame really. Weatherston came on and made a huge impact on the game, absolutely superb on the right wing. He skinned his opponent several times and IIRC played a part in all of the final 3 goals. Jackson showed a clinical edge i feel he has been missing for a long time and scored both his goals from close range. John Stewart scored a tap in after the 'keeper parried a header from Stewart.
All in all a competant performance from us and the stand outs IMO were: McManus, Weatherston and Jackson.
The boy Ben Webster looked as though he can do a decent job and is very attacking minded and helps the right winger often.
TBH nobody played particularly poor but Peaso tends to spend an awful long time on the deckand not particularly impressed with John Stewart.
Knocks to Hardie and McInnes were concerning but Daal promised he would feature in the game on Sunday.
Great atmosphere in the ground and the Coleraine fans were all good for a bit of bantor.
