Whilst I agree with Andy Rhodes, that this forum does have a knee jerk reaction to these kinds of things, this does feel like a bit of an own goal here. For me, we (the board) had to decide what would happen if we won the cup (prices, printers, dates, who does what etc) and what would happen if we didn't. This is all basic stuff for a business and could have been decided over a couple of days between the semi final and the final.

Yes, we were there a few years back and Andy's pretty much summed it up. Traders are maybe just a wee bit pushier than elsewhere and go in a strop if the deals not done but nothing serious. Tell you what though....when it's hot, it's feckin' hot!!!! Enjoy.....

Some one mentioned a figure of £750k for tv money and (Semi-Final & Final) tickets etc. As Johnstoun points out, the prize money is pretty small beer.

That is an unbelievable fall when you think about it. International appearance to junior football in less than 4 years at (age wise) the prime of his football career.

On the clip facing the crowd when Macca scores, you can just see how the different parts of the crowd are reacting to what's happening...a few stand up when May gets the ball, a whole surge when it's one on one and hysteria when Macca scoops it in. I could watch that 50 times and never get bored of it.

He was talking about a return to an old club but I've just realised he tweeted about a possible return to every club he'd been at....needless to say, it was a long list!!

Anybody seen Rowan Vine's tweets today? I wouldn't mind seeing him back as Iwelumo's replacement.((ducks for cover...))

It is an interesting concept.....I guess an away supporter who knows they're going to the games could also pay (say) £20 for an AR season ticket and see their teams 2 away games and other game that takes their fancy.

I think the updates on the final (as a whole) are still happening Twitter, Facebook etc. Just don't see the point in updating the world that we sold 40 tickets yesterday.

I think that's because there's nothing to say. Sales will be going up in 10's rather than 100's or 1000's. 14.2k will creep up to 15k by the 17th.

I think we're pretty much there in terms of our sales...The 14k+ might move to 15k+ but there's no way we'll add any more then that.

I actually thought O'Sullivan spoke pretty well after the match. Seems to have calmed down and plays better snooker because of it.

Can "the neutrals" buy tickets directly from the SFA?...if they can't then they will have bought them from us or Utd, therefore included in the current ticket sales numbers.
