  9. Have found this as another alternate option. It looks like most people seem to think Istanbul is the way forward unless your wanting to wait until the CAS case on the 9th July. Train from Waverley 18:52 Tuesday Evening arriving London Houston 01:15 £40.50 or Train from Waverley 23:40 Tuesday Evening arriving London Houston 06:43 £41.90 (I think this will be too close for comfort to get to Heathrow) Flight from Heathrow 09:15 with stopover in Austria arrive Istanbul 16:45 5h 30 £91 Flight from Istanbul 17:35 Saturday via Austria arrive Heathrow 21:30 £91 Train from London Houston back on the Sunday around £55-65 Under £300 but a night in London to add into the price or possibly look at flying edinburgh to heathrow instead of the train. If a bus is organised from Istanbul we should be there in plenty time and would get a night in Istanbul as well on the Friday which could be good.
  10. Im the same Mark, I would rather have a few days rather than one day there then head straight back, i've came up with a couple different routes. I could make beer on Friday if anyone is meeting up
  11. A Focus from Europcar at Istanbul airport is $180 for the Wednesday to the Friday so around £50 each for 3 people. Its certainly gotta be looked at because I dont think I could sit on a bus for upto 6 hours it would drive me mental
  12. Yip, would certainly be a road trip!!!
  13. Would I be right in thinking the charter flight would most likely be departing Wednesday then return straight after the match?? Had a wee look at flights from Brussels direct and unless your willing to stay in Turkey for 4 days its gonna be far too expensive. Could one of the Turkish fans tell me how easy it is to cross the border from Bulgaria by car?
  14. Subscribed with TMG for the charter flight but if I can do it cheaper myself Ill probably do that or jump in with you guys for a block booking if thats alright. Im thinking via Germany as they have quite a large Turkish community and plenty flights to both Istanbul and Ankara. Depending on numbers would booking a flight to istanbul then hiring a car possibly be an option??
  15. I was going to wait for the charter details if the club are doing one but decided to just do it myself and try make a break of it. Looking about its gonna be £300-£400 for flights edinburgh to ankara. Im thinking possibly Edinburgh to Frankfurt then onto Ankara from Germany then flying back to Edinburgh from Ankara. Cost of about £350 for the flights plus being away Tue-Sat but I cant see a summer holiday on the cards after this so might as well make the most of it. Possibly replace Frankfurt with Amsterdam if possible
  16. Nothing as yet but im looking into flying to London then on from there about £285-£300. I was hoping to get booked up asap but looks like gonna have to wait until 5th July. Prices will be more expensive by then I think
  17. Will the club look into chartering a flight for this??
  18. I done business, computing, accounts etc at school and in the 11 years since I left education I've spent 10 of them in the building industry. I was steered towards these sort of subjects by the teachers but looking back I should have made my own choices. Do they still do that thing in 4th year where you answer 50 questions and it tells you your ideal job? Mines came up betting shop manager
  19. We were as good for Jody as he was for us. He got pelters everywhere he went in England for his antics off the pitch and Saints offered him something different. In the time I have watched Saints play Sergei is the classiest but Jody is up there for me. He came to us when we were in First Division and seen Dels vision in getting us promoted. Although his defensive style wasn't to everyones cup of tea I think every good team has to have that style player to become successful. Just to have a guy with that experience around them the other players stepped up their game and have become a better team for that. He was well liked and on the whole kept out of trouble. Have Saints become a better player in the 4 years he was here? For that I wish Jody all the best at Bristol and thanks for your service to Saints
  20. Not at all, it's actually fairly common. If your winning money off them they don't have to take your bet. I had a good few weeks then they stopped me gambling.
  21. Paddy power are a bunch of robbing barstewards. Suspended my account with winnings in it then just gave me my stake and told me I wouldn't be allowed to use their services anymore.
  22. I will be going. Holidays booked in already, I too am happy to chip in on a flag
  23. I work 2880 hours which is 1223 hours more than the average, i dont get paid enough!!!!
