  1. Scored a stunner at Easter Road. No as stunning as his wife though. She worked at the GA while he was here. Stoater.
  2. Quite a few Buddies there today. Probably under 2,000 Saints fans. Shocking
  3. Alan used to work in the car park at Aviva many moons ago. He lived around Newhouse Road at that time. At least 10 years since I spoke to him.
  4. Certainly is Chang. One of my best mates back in the day. I can even remember his top, like a cricket jersey and really thick knit. Must have been sweating his nadgers off. I know who the lassie on the right is as well, but I'm no telling
  5. Larky's punchin above his weight there
  6. While I've never thought of giving up on Saints after a particular match, I did consider giving up on football altogether, when we had ex players turning out on for Livingston, after we were relegated in 2002. LIVI FFS. I certainly missed a few games that season, that I normally would've attended. I've watched some sh**e over the years, but no individual result could test my loyalty. For what it's worth; I would still have walked away, if Sevco had slid straight back into the Premier League.
  7. Bloody awful game. Thank Christ somebody found something to sing about. Well done lads.
  8. I would imagine that TW told Thomson to concentrate on providing cover for Fisher, and not to go charging up the park too early in the game. As we were punting the ball to Maclean for an hour or so, the laddie had very little chance of getting involved offensively. He didn't do too much wrong, he simply wasn't receiving the ball in threatening areas. His time will come.
  9. Tam had no chance of getting near the ball, and took the player out. Kicking an opponent in an off the ball incident IMO. Similar to the one we had against UTD a few seasons ago, and almost in the exact same spot.
  10. I arrived in the East Stand around half two, using the second last turnstile. Never heard a cheep about vouchers until it appeared on the official site
  11. I think I remember Dodds other goal in that game too. Did he not charge in on Andy Rhodes and kick the ball out of his hands, when he was clearly in possession of the ball?
  12. The very same.
  13. Shug lived in Tweedsmuir right enough. A few doors along from Mercer Terrace.
  14. Surely the Well are worthy of a guard of honour next season. We'll have to organise something to show our appreciation.
  15. Might have been Davie Whitehead on the forklift. Seem to recall him buzzing around Kinnoull St. back in the 70's.
