  1. Dundalk fans say he's signed. Also gives Perth a real go for being a "nothing" city. But, as of next year... Stone of Destiny.
  2. The Dundalk guys (he/him/she/her/ affrodiety) on twitter say it's done. We absolutely need this signing to cover for McCart.
  3. Tbh, I wouldn't have an issue if the league was scrapped & we were demoted. It happened to hearts. But I'm not sure it will come to that. Everyone got a bit jumpy over Covid. I think people realise now, that closed doors games are the correct way to go. Omicron is simply flu', packaged by pharma as a killer. Yes, some will die due to underlying health conditions. But it's nothing new. Tradionally it's the magic 40
  4. Look at the way Daniel Cleary signed off from Dundalk. Pure quality. He didn't need to do that, but as an honourable man, he thanked the club +support. No-one begrudges McCann of moving for money. But it's a sour departure which was, and will to me, be a negative trait. The transfer put us in shit. Sold too low. Saints developed him from a kid. Now, a "thank you" to fans really doesn't matter too much. But it does. He should at least do the decent thing & acknowledge the staff.
  5. That's a great way to thank the fans. Have we signed him though.... Looks like we have. Welcome Brendan, excellent business by Saints because I'm sure Hibs/Aberdeen would've been sniffing...
  6. CD will be loathe to go 4-4-2. On occasion he may do it. But 3-2-3-2 is his formation. But we need specific players to do that.
  7. Yes watching it. Great he's signed. Sevco looking to put Rooney under pressure. Brown playing well, but Sevco camped in midfield (is stating "camped" homophobic @jhq)??
  8. ...anywaaay... @blueheaven if you're offended, by all means pm me. Now... Signings. Has Butterfield actually signed ? We need his dig & positional sense in midfield. Problem is, he's close to Bryson in role/ ability. He needs an energy midfielder around him to make space for the subtle passes. I take it that if Crawford signs, that's his place assured in the team. So, Crawford as an advanced midfielder, Bryson/ Butterfield playing 60 mins, with MacPherson doing the running. Be interesting what forwards sign. Eetu doesn't track, neither Crawford.
  9. Ever heard of having a laugh? Because right now, there's not a lot going on in Saints land. Actually, I'd imagine there are hectic discussions going on. But we'll never know. So... It's quite boring. We're playing turd, signing anything. However @blueheaven you provide the most excellent form of bait. I know you still maintain desires to write for the Guardian, or at least AAP/Reuters. But you won't get there. Because you don't state anything in your pc confetti. Aldi mags is your gig
  10. Zander can leave with his head high, dignity intact. Unlike a certain McCann. It's most likely beneficial for the squad that Zander, McCart sort their future now. CD must have a job on his hands with team morale, given we've descended into a desperate concoction of loans, frees. If Butterfield joins (hope he does), we're up to... 6x loans; 3x frees. That's close to 40% of our senior squad! Forget alarm bells, we have become a club ripe for relegation. Even @blueheaven must be applying sandpaper to his testicles. when he finds them
  11. I can assure you that I do not masquerade under different user names! What's the point? @blueheaven has agreed to make me tea, tatties & scones. Maybe lorn sausage if he gets all kinky. Northern Saint's post's are good. He actually states something, even if I disagree. Whomever @Northern saint
  12. Yes, Butterfield is quality. He'll be an asset on the scrap..
  13. He isn't registered in Aus anymore. The league structure allows for 1 "marquee" player- no limit on salary, then a squad allocation. League starts November over here. Daniel Sturridge signed a 1 yr deal with Perth Glory in September. His salary must be ridiculous. To date, he's posted an Instagram job vacancy for his personal barber- wtf? And didn't realise it's a minimum 4-5 hour flight for away games. Oh, and made it pretty clear he's up for a shag. At 32, he should be playing for the real Saints. But we haven't got $1m to pay. Thankfully. He is a good player, but epic tool. Makes our rottweiler player look sane.
  14. Butterfield is just fine. Not got the legs now, but quality. Interesting if CD plays him & Bryson, as they're similar players. We'd need McPherson doing the yards.
  15. Leftfield, but worth considering. A Chinese winger/striker. Massive sponsorship, even if on bench. Look at the dude in F1, Feng, tennis, Peng (has gone missing, bhc,) snooker Shueue, even sign Xi. Or xyeu. Just formalised a deal for a player in Australian basketball. Nothing paid, he brings $5m. Hello China..
  16. Oh god, you appear again. It's like Martha Stewart. Or fungal disease, You have mastered the art of "mibbes yes, mibbes no". Get your testicles looked at. But the summary may be... Inconclusive.
  17. Bloody too right! Enough "dodgy ref calls". We earn points by playing well. The 50/50 calls shouldn't come into it. FOR EVERY MATCH. We should play & be coached better.
  18. We must target Australia. They're proven, technical, and hungry. And cheap.
  19. Never said any a ST should based on cups. They mostly buy for entertainment. Football competes against online viewing. Have saints done anything? I'd far rather a vid of @blueheaven munting his grannie. Each to their own.
  20. Could it happen? MaC out, sturrock in as an interim? Sturrock is a bestie of the broonies.. I'm throwing it up, no facts behind it. I think we could do with Lug, he's free, local, ditch Mac..
