We signed Brad on a pre-contract, not a last minute cover signing. Surely significant time was spent watching him prior to approaching him. So, what the **** could possibly have changed?

I am ****ed off, most of us are ****ed off. Not because we are losing;( hey, we are St.Johnstone, we have been losing games for years.) No no, I am ****ed of because  we dinnae look like we are gonna win. I hear that we were " unlucky" all the time. That it's injuries that are costing us. Individual errors, poor refereeing....the list goes on and on  and yet  here we are on Wednesday and I am already looking forward to heading up the road to sheepsville to " support" ma team..our team  There are a few things I would like to see..I would like to see attacking football. I would like to see crisp passing, incisive movement. I'd like to see a positive line up, with positive tactics.. I am positive about this.
Last time we went up there we horsed them 5-1. I would suspect that even Mr Saints tinted glasses himself would not be thinking this will happen this time round.. Oh no, the likelyhood is we will get beat, I am ready  for defeat (if it comes) but I want to see us give ourselves a ****ing chance of winning. I don't want to see us try and hold on  for a 0-0 ( we cannae dae that anyway can we??)

Livingston 2nd bottom of championship played better than we have over the past few weeks.Passing moving,grit & determination.What a difference from the hoofball,can't get rid of the ball quick enough stuff Wright & Davidson have us playing.

I am glad you admire him but apart from the wonder strike against Celtic cant remember a great deal positive.Since he signed for Berwick in 2005 he has only had 126 league starts (8 for us) and therein lies the problem.He has been plagued by injuries and fitness issues and dont see that improving in his 30th year.

Swanson is a 30 year old fat wee bawbag who flopped at the peak of his career and can't even get a sniff of a game ahead of Hearts' 18 year old youth players....

Agree with that! Moving joe to RB no matter how desperate the situation will only serve to prolong our defence frailties. Joe and Ando as a partnership are the closest thing to steady that we have seen for a while..

Could well be, the Sturrock/Sandy Clark era would be the obvious analogy. I obviously hope not but we are a diddy yoyo club after all. I think this summer will be a massive transfer window for saints and we'll get an idea whether the broons are willing to stick or twist.

I think we are all being a bit too harsh on Mikey, ok so I am hacked off he didn't want to stay at my grand 'wee' club, but the reported £7500 PW would turn many a head! 
I don't believe he wasn't trying I think it was a lot to do with our tactics, against Hearts especially where high balls were being hit up to him & McLean neither of them being the sort to naturally suit headers.
He has probably had an agent in his ear who would be keen to get a slice of transfer cash! Goodness knows what he would be saying.
If folk are honest it's not the fact he left that disappointed us because we always expect any decent player to be poached or flogged to the highest bidder, it was the fact he left for THAT club!!!  A club who have NO integrity, saturated in sectarian bile, arrogance, there are not enough adjectives!!!!!!

so many others jumped to conclusions based from blue nose tv interview... Every article I've read today he has mentioned Saints. He was off to pick his boots up and drop a present off.  Good lad, good pay rise, cup winner legend.  He has enjoyed his time here but the time always comes to move on, unfortunately it is to Rangers but that doesn't bother me at all... its his choice, and it doesn't detract to his achievements with Saints.  Thanks for the memories Mikey!

I can't thank Tommy Wright and the guys at St Johnstone enough for the opportunity they gave me after leaving Bolton. It was a great two years for me, especially winning the Scottish Cup and playing in Europe.
