Crossest Man In Scotland got a reaction from MySpazz in St.Johnstone V Hibernian - Scottish Cup Final - Saturday 22nd May 2021
Can't wait to get to pub this afternoon and point out to my Dons supporting friends that Saints have won same amount of trophies in past 12 weeks as Aberdeen have in the past 32 years.

I would say that Scougall + MOH is an upgrade on Swanson + Coulson.

Both Foster and Easton were left utterly exposed as the manager decided to play a narrow diamond midfield.

Gilchrist was fine.
The point about him being older than five of them is a bigger issue regarding our game. Across the board in Scotland our youngsters don't seem to mature fast enough. We do OK at youth level but these players we are then told need protected from the big scary world of spl football

Strange one.
You would think it would be the Chairman's job to set the total budget and the Manager's job to decide how that budget is divvied up.
Whatever line of work you are in, it is very demotivating if your boss doesn't delegate.

“My 12-year-old son Christiano asks me sometimes, it’s a long time you don’t play and you still love your team in Scotland. I just answer him: ‘You will never understand what I really feel about St Johnstone.’”
Oh, Miguel <3

Oh Dear Andy Rhodes style over substance he was an OK shot stopper but overall a poor keeper.I remember the first time I saw him an easily catchable shot came into the box he took a step to the side, dived through the air and Palmed it round the post. The crowd went wild and I said "That ****ing idiot has just given away a corner. This became the norm theatrical dives follows by extravagant rolls on the ground d.He was all ego,a big conman. We bought him from Dunfermline n a deal valued at 300K which was 100 K plus Roddy and Lindsay Hamilton. After a couple of years (and far too many games)he was loaned out twice and then punted to Airdrie for 25K

Crossest Man In Scotland got a reaction from 541ntees in Decisions against us
I remember Celtic beat us at McD in one of John Barnes' first games with a late "goal" which never came close to crossing the line.
In post match interview Barnes said something along lines of "It probably wasn't a goal but these things even themselves out over a season". Not in Scotland they don't John.

Crossest Man In Scotland reacted to PauloPerth in Iconic Goals
Not iconic for many as it wasn't on tv, but a goal that will stick with me for ever was stevie maskrey v raith rovers in first game of season in 1988. He ran with the ball dribbling past 6 rovers players before finishing. Like maradona v England, but more brilliant skill than speed and power. It deserved to be captured on camera, it was so good.
More than the goal itself, I remember the crowd. Long after the cheering had died away and the game had restarted, the whole 2500(?) crowd continued to applaud while the game carried on. It seemed to last for minutes.
It was surreal, like being at a concert or show or something. Don't think I've experienced anything like that at a football match before or since.

Indeed. We're blessed to have The Rangers Football Club PLC representing the interests of Scottish football and wider Scottish culture. Them and their green-hooped twins across the city. How lucky we are to have such enlightened folks at the pinnacle of our society.
