  1. Authorities have altered the transfer window for this season, so I've no doubt that they would give clubs leeway if there are difficulties with new strips
  2. Admin - apologies as this is not directly Football Club related I am a member of the Board of Trustees of The St Johnstone Community Trust (Saints in the Community) and togther with others was going to be raising funds for them by completing the Dundee Kiltwalk in August this year. Due to the Coronavirus crisis the event has been cancelled but has been replaced with a Virtual Kiltwalk over the weekend of 3rd to 5th July. Over that weekend I will be walking 25 miles around the Viewlands, Oakbank, Cherrybank and Western Edge areas if Perth. Others are completing their own challenges. The St Johnstone Community Trust are a stand-alone charity based in Perth & Kinross. Using the draw of football, programmes are provided which promote physical activity, education and better health and wellbeing. Their projects include, but are not limited to: Recreational and Developmental Football for kids School Education programmes on Racism and Healthy Eating Unemployment programmes for young adults Multi-sports activities for adults with learning disabilities Football for adults with Mental Health & Wellbeing struggles Walking Football for older adults Football Memories for adults living with dementia At this time, the charity finds themselves in a very challenging financial situation due to their income-generating activities being put on pause. In spite of this, the charity recently launched their Give & Go: Community Support initiative to provide assistance to those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. https://dundeekiltwalk2020.everydayhero.com/uk/st-johnstone-community-trust Please visit our page and consider a donation to the Trust. Thanks in Advance Colin MacKay
  3. Should read Race Night, and not Rave night as stated in my original post, before some buy tickets and end up disappointed hahaha
  4. Saints in the Community, who are a registered charity, and who raise their funds, independently of The Club, for their various projects supporting people of all ages across Perth and Kinross, are holding a Fundraising Rave Night on Sat 15th of February at McDiarmid Park, and tickets and sponsorships are still available. Please see the advertising poster, and support the event in any way you can. Apologies to anyone upset at this going on Saints Football Chat
  5. There is a Hall of Fame Board in main reception and there have now been three formal Hall of Fame Dinners in the Concert Hall, which were well advertised on Web page. The last two involved supporters votes and, certainly in the last one, voting slips were also available at home matches at McD. Can't see how anyone missed this.
  6. The one more could be a free agent left back after the window closes
  7. Remember what you made that comment about Random?
  8. I ordered a jacket and polo shirts (not Saints gear) two weeks ago on the Friday. Stuff all arrived on the Monday afternoon and completely satisfied
  9. With Fulham's promotion to Premiership now confirmed I believe there is now a much greater chance they will release George Williams, which could play into Saints' hands.
  10. Given that Wright has just turned 23, is a product of Colchester's youth system, and was offered a new contract by them, is there a possibility we will be due them a fee?
  11. Wouldn't want Stokes anywhere near our club. The baggage he brings with him, with his links to and attendance at pro IRA functions, makes him, in common with the open sectarianism displayed by supporters of both sides of the Old Firm, the biggest part of what is wrong with Scottish Football
  12. Abiding memories of Macca will be his cup final goal, that injury time winner at Easter Road, and hopefully the winner against Dundee this week, sinking them deep into a relegation dogfight.
  13. Kyle McLean also on International Duty with N.Ireland U21s
  14. https://mobile.twitter.com/ManUtdFinland/status/911544345202954243/video/1 Wearing 26. Looks a class player does Willock. Great dribbling and passing for first two goals on this clip, then great composure to lob the keeper for his own goal. Welcome to Saints Matty
  15. Mikey seems happy to be back with Sevco. Note the dig from the interviewer "You wouldn't get this at St Johnstone" One mediocre performance and they'll all be on his back again about not being Rangers Quality and not the right Religion, and he will wish he was back with us!
  16. Additional Collectable Shirts Following on from the sale of the outfield shirts, there is also the opportunity for fans to get their hands on the two specially commissioned goalkeeper's tops, made specially for Dave's Testimonial Match, and which were worn on the night by Zander Clark, and a special guest goalkeeper appearance by Murray Davidson. Both shirts are signed front and back by Dave Mackay, and Zander and Murray have also signed their respective shirts. Each shirt, which would make a wonderful Christmas Present for any Saints fan are being sold at £75 each. If interested in purchasing one please private message me with name/address and contact email
  17. Yes, we were due to play Motherwell away https://spfl.co.uk/news/article/new-date-for-motherwell-v-st-johnstone/
  18. In addition to the listed items, there is also the opportunity for a couple of lucky Saints fans to get there hands on one of the two large advertising banners commissioned for "Cuptie's" Testimonial events. They picture Dave with the Scottish Cup and there couldn't be a better Christmas gift to hang on the bedroom wall of any young Saints fan. They would be the envy of all their friends. The two banners, available at £50 each, measure 1550x700mm, they are made of on tear material, with eyelets at the top and weighted at the bottom. Again they will be sold on a first come, first served basis
  19. In addition to the above items there is one additional "one off" item up for grabs. On the night an official photograph was taken of both squads, including all the Saints legends. Three were framed and signed by all of players involved. One copy was presented to St Johnstone FC, one was given to Dave himself and the other is being offered for sale to the highest bidder, prior to midnight on Friday 8th December. If you are interested please reply to this topic to register a bid. All monies raised from this and the sale of items listed above go to the Dave MacKay Testimonial Fund.
  20. Want a piece of Saints memorabilia for yourself, or as a Christmas present for a family member? There are a VERY limited number of the specially commissioned Dave Mackay Testimonial Match St Johnstone shirts, which are signed by Dave Mackay on the front and the back. They are available at £75 each and will be sold on a first come, first served basis. The shirts are in Medium and Large sizes, but due to the very small number available, requested sizes cannot be guaranteed, for those lucky enough to purchase one. There are also a small number of the specially commissioned Testimonial Match Engraved Hip Flasks available, which were presented to both of the playing squads on the night. They are for sale at £25. The flasks are engraved with the St Johnstone and Dundee FC Club Crests and the words “Dave Mackay Testimonial, St Johnstone FC v Dundee FC, 6th October 2017” We have all sung “A Team of Dave Mackay’s” and in addition to the official team sheets produced on the night there were half a dozen also printed, which did indeed show the whole Saints squad as a team of Dave Mackay’s. They have all been personally signed by Dave and, once you frame it, would make a perfect present for any Saints supporter. These are available for £5 each. If you wish to get your hands on any of the above items then please send me a Private Message detailing the item you wish to purchase. I MUST REITERATE THEY ARE BEING SOLD ON FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS, BUT THEY ARE BEING OFFERED HERE FIRST. Payment will be required before any items are handed out, and anyone unable to pick up the items from Perth will require to pay P&P
