Whilst i can appreciate the frustration at selling 2 of our best players i think the comments re our Board ( S Brown in particular ) are very undeserved . Last season's  achievements  were incredible and keeping the team together was always going to be very difficult. When offers come in for our players from clubs that can offer 5/10 times the wages we can you are potentially going to have some  very unhappy players if the the offers are turned down . Whilst disappointed to see Kerr and McCann leave i think both deals are sensible for the club and the players concerned. As far as i am concerned The Brown Family have done a fantastic job in looking after St Johnstone for the past 25 + years. As a fan who supported Saints prior to Geoff Brown getting involved i can say i never dreamed i would see Saints win 3 Cups in my lifetime.

Hearts, a Scottish embarrassment.  What is their end game, what do they want?    Played 30, won 4 (four)  Beat Hibs twice, Beat Rangers, beat StMirren.  Couldn't beat anyone else.
What is the legal action, to be asking to keep playing another round of fixtures as think they can survive?
Will they ever accept they are the worst side of 19/20 season?

I think people are seeing what the want to see in respect of Robertson. She's been given a remit and she's just following what she's been told to do, I haven't seen anything that I've been concerned about from her to be honest.

The Ann Budge document comes out with some crackers.
This is not about saving Hearts but saving Scottish football.
The premier League needs Hearts more than the championship
In light of the increasingly uncertain times we are facing, I want to urge every Member Club to look at this proposal not as a way to save Hearts, Partick Thistle and Stranraer from relegation, but as a better way for Scottish Football to deal with the current emergency, while at the same time righting an unintended injustice.

Biggest load of crap I have read in a  while. 3 league's of 14 for 2 seasons top half play 36 games but 8 play 40. Possible play off between 5 th 6th and 7th for a euro spot for a new competition that's not started yet.
I suppose the main caveat for the position after 2 years will be as long as hearts are not getting relegated.

Don't have much of a problem with 14 team league but not for one season & just to save Hearts. Budge says they shouldn't be relegated because they have invested a lot of money to avoid relegation. So by that criteria Rangers should be awarded the title because they have spent a lot of money trying to achieve it. Feckin idiot. No wonder Hearts are where they are. OK she saved them but with keeping on Levien & McPhee & employing a useless manager, she is responsible for where they are.
Also they had a chance to get off the bottom with their game against St Mirren & they didn't look like they were trying.
    Sorry strayed off reconstruction.

My feelings are that finishing this season must be the Football authorities main priority. Whether this is August/Sept/Oct or whenever they just have to find a way to do it. After this has happened and you have Champions/Promotion/Relegation all sorted out then try and find a workable solution for next season . 2020/21 will not be a normal season but with a bit of invention /compromise a solution could be found.

McDiarmid is a pretty depressing place when it is only 25% full  and  2 empty stands behind each goal . To make watching football enjoyable you need a decent game plus a good atmosphere. At the time of the relocation most people thought 10,000 was the correct size ( some actually wanted a higher capacity ) but these days McDiarmid is far to big for the majority of our  matches. Their is no easy solution to this problem but the lack of atmosphere may be another reason some people are not going to our games these days . £25.00 to sit in a cold empty stadium is not appealing .

I have always been a big admirer of the way The Brown's have run our club since Geoff stepped in back in the 80's. Saints fans have enjoyed some fantastic moments over the past 30 or so years and whilst Managers and Players have obviously contributed greatly to this period I feel the most significant factor in this hugely successful spell in the clubs history is conduct of the owners. It is starting to sound like the Brown Ownership is coming to an end and they will be a very hard act to follow. I must say I am a bit disappointed and slightly perplexed by some of recent stuff in the media coming from S Brown and I feel he is perfectly entitled to his feelings but it would have been better to keep those thoughts private and I do not really know what he is achieving by making these thoughts public at the present time. Some interesting times may lie ahead !! .

Regarding losses/budgets the current make up of the Premier League is not helping Saints. Although  Hamilton, Livingstone and Ross County are all there on merit, from a financial view it would  be far better if these teams were replaced with Dundee Utd, Dundee and say Falkirk or Dunfermline ( all carry decent away supports ) .

Timing of this interview/comments a bit strange but I basically agree with what S Brown is saying. With our limited support it is important that the club lives within its means. With our cash reserves ( available through good previous  financial controls ) we can cover a few loss making seasons but if this becomes a trend then the reserves will soon disappear . I feel the Brown Family have been excellent custodians of St Johnstone F.C. and I hope S Brown is at the helm for a good few more years.

I listened to the interview in the car on the way to the game and I thought he spoke pragmatically about running a club with a small fan base. He's not the most charismatic or articulate speaker but he's got the t shirt from years of fighting our corner and he's just following his fathers's blueprint for susutainability. I can never understand the negativity he catches - he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. I hope he has his hand on he tiller for another 10 years.

Very surprised Melbourne Saint thinks our Goalkeepers are fine . In my opinion this position is probably our biggest concern.

Great team effort and deserved to win. Either Tommy has blind faith in Clark or Parish is useless because our keeper is our weakest link. What was he doing for their second goal. Either come out and command the 6 yard box or stay in your goal, he did neither.

Up over 2500 on our last home game against Celtic, and also the earlier game this season against Rangers.
The "extra" money made from giving Celtic fans the East will have paid the fee we paid ICT for McCart this window and left plenty spare.

I doubt we’d move Duffy along. Being very harsh there. He wasn’t signed to play this season, he was signed to develop then chucked in at the deep end.

You sign a first team quality centre half and go from there, just now we only have two, which isnt enough.

callander saint got a reaction from Cleveland-Saint in 2018/2019 FINANCIAL FIGURES
Saints yesterday released their Financial  Accounts for the 12 months to 31st May 2019 showing a Trading Loss of £150,000 . Although not great news at least we have the comport of having almost 2 million in the  Bank to cover this loss. Today I have read that Caley Thistle are holding an Extraordinary Meeting tonight to try and raise funds to ward off Administration . Apparently they are about to release their  Financial Accounts showing a yearly loss of £800.000 !!! . Without wanting to gloat about Caley Thistle's problems I think this just shows how important it is for clubs our size to have Directors who are prudent and do not let their hearts rule their heads. At times S Brown might appear pretty tightfisted but  this is necessary for the long term future of our club.
