No I'm not taking the piss. Is it compulsory that I read the club's website? I choose not to read the clubs website any more because it's always late and not very good. I get more accurate information from other websites like the BBC. Incidentally, I've been a supporter and season ticket holder on and off for 34 years and my contact comes mostly from going to the games! About this survey - you'll know that he club used to send them surveys out by post. They also used to send out special offers, season ticket info and stuff for the kids by email and post. I have sponsored the odd thing over the years and the club used to contact me to remind them of new sponsorship opportunities. Since November 2008 I've not had a single email, newsleter, survey, promotion of any kind so what does that say about their PR? If Paul Smiths hands are tied then I have every sympathy with him but it's nothing personal.

Do you think it's better to have a qualified doctor write prescriptions? Anyhoo...since when was it about being a better person? The PR about this debacle yesterday will cause a massive financial loss to the club. A decent (qualified) PR guy would have handled the situation better and minimised the clubs losses. When I said replaced I didn't mean sacked.

There was a fans survey - it says so on the clubs website - that Paul smith was suppoosed to have done. Did anyone ever see it?

Is Paul Smith actually qualified or trained in PR? If he's not qualified then he should be replaced by someone who is because the PR in the past few weeks has been disgraceful.

Well said that man. That and twitter but the club are so backward it's highly unlikely they would even think about it. Our club is a feckin joke when it comes to communication. By the way, every banging on about bias on Chick young's program should open their ears and listen rather than crying foul. We listened to theentire program and there were numerous requests for saints fans to call in and give an opinion. I didn't here anyone going on. The girl from Falkirk was on and was very gracious - sticking up for saints. Maybe instead of voicing off on here folk should actually try phoning in, emailing or texting? How many of you actually tried phoning in? I couldn't because I was at work otherwise I would have no problems.

You're "investigating other ways to provide a display of club archive material"...hmmm have you tried investigating getting our history back online? Remember the old website? Remember how it had the entire club history on archive and even the bristling with possibilities stuff? So why then did the club dump the old website and replace it with the crappy website we have now? You promised us that the new website would be a big improvement and old the match reports would come back. Well...the website has not improved and none of the old reports have been replaced.

It's the same content as the old site SaintSam...just a lot less of it now. The old site had match reports and news going back for years and you colud at least search before. It's all disappeared now Was there a fall out with the old people? I don't agree about them working on it though...it should have worked when it went live IMO. Compared to all the other 1st div club websites (except QOS) I think Saints have went back the way.

Our IT guy emailed me and told me they have just copied one of their clients web-sites and stuck saints badges on it...looks like you are right saint_markperth! I was getting pages full of adverts about church mortgages and christian singles cafes?

Glad to see WAP back! I "exposed" the new site a while ago before it went live. I thought the new site was crap then and I still think it's crap now. The old site was miles better. I can't see it at work because its firewalled. I asked IT to add it but was told no because it uses some dodgy scripts or something. My mate can't see it at his work either...only see it at home. All the old match reports and news have disappeared. The colour is crap...Saints sites have always been blue in the past. Lots of links dont work and whats with the adverts for religion? Good job saints...not.
